Mirage 2000C-S5 ; 2000D-R1 & 2000D-RMV and Mirage 4000 too high BR?

lately i had the greatest of ideas to spad my 2000Ds and the Mirage 2000 Série 5 since they weren’t spadded yet in ARB.

My experience is pretty bad, listen im not a bad player, nor the greatest, but i feel that theses planes just have unfair BRs currently.

I do have a few keypoints to point out my issues for those who might not realy see the problem

  • The Mirage 2000-S5 only has 4 pylons for A/A weaponery ; while the Magic 2 is a “meh/good” IR missile ; the 530D is completly outclassed by some missiles such as the AIM-7P or R-27ER ; at worst you could also encounter 13.0/13.7 jets such as the Su-30 premiums which access to a much higher count of weaponery and missiles such as the R-77 and the R-73. I would also note that i mostly encounter games with 13.0+ as a 12.7 jet, and feel totaly not equivalent to jets such as the F/A-18C.

  • Both Mirage 2000D are SARH-less platforms sharing only a modified airframe of the 2000C but heavier ; the 2000D-R1 is at BR 12.3 while the 2000D-RMV is at BR 12.7, those BRs feels completly unfair since they are objectively worse Mirage 2000Cs without SARH, the justification of those BRs might be for the R1 the fact that’s it’s a Mirage 2000 with Magics 2, while the RMV has SBUs. With that in mind the Mirage F1s do also have Magics 2 with the addition of internal gun, radar and SARH weaponery at BR 12.0

With the latest update, i do get a stronger feeling of just being outclassed, with the 2000C-S5 i cannot engage BVR fights with R-27ERs or AIM-7P platforms due to the missile being just bad.

Anyways i mostly done this post to have a discussion about it, what do you guys think about this situation? Is there a way to suggest a BR change for Gaijin?

As of now im quitting ARB for ASB with my 2000C-S5 (the last of those jets im spadding), while Simulator is kinda in the same place i do get at least a few kills at the end.

The mirages are fine what we need is decompression at that BR

They do but currently i do feel they’re a bit underperforming due to their BRs

No. They are underperforming due to compression. If you put them lower you just make the people who face them in uptiers suffer more.

Can you elaborate?

If you put them down in BR they become too strong in downtiers. If you had them at 12.3 any 11.3 planes facing them would struggle.

What needs to be done is to split 12.7 tp 13.3 up into many different BRs and redistribute because at 13.0 there are many plane swith wildly different capabilities.

Moving vehicles down creates compression.

if the Mirage 2000 C-S5 moved down to 12.3, should the Tornado IDS and Mirage-2000D1 move down to 12.0?

If they moved down to 12.0, should some of the 12.0s now move down. Now they’ve moved down should some of the 11.7s… repeat after repeat.

The only real way to fix this issue is to move the offending aircraft up. Increase the max BR and spread aircraft out over a wider area.

Something like this:

Nah.
Mirage 4000 is above average for 13.0 vehicles. Especially now that its chaff tubes are filled.

Mirage 2000S5 is one of the best 12.7s.

13.0’s compression continues to cause issues that needs to be fixed.

Missread the message sorry

The main issue i see is that Gaijin doesn’t seems to want to decompress BRs, iirc didn’t they told something about it during the infamous last Q&A video?

Yeah, Gaijin cares more about queue times than gameplay unfortunately.

Honestly i wonder how much the community cares about waiting queues

I only “recently” (a few years back) started to go into smaller nations such as the UK & France, and from all the returns i hear (and my personnal experience), i do realise how much some BRs are completly broken for some.

Wish Gaijin would someday change their mind, France lineups are incredibly frustrating with good vehicles ; too high BR :/
