That’s true, the Tiger HAD however should be a bit better however since it can just only show the opticals while scanning the battlefield while the A129D has to show the entire hull, exposing it to SAMs.
And it’s all good. Also yes, I’ve been advocating for Israel to get it as well.
The AH-129D will be better against fixed wings because of the rotary cannon, which will be better than an AT 30mm, thats about it, so i’d say the difference is negligible.
With the upcoming HMD for the F-16C’s i wonder if Mirage 2000 and Mig 29 will get their equivilants, i wonder if we can get the TopSight for the mirage 2000 (atleast the 5F)
Have reports/discussions also being made on the fact that French missiles and plane don’t appear to have the new range indicators of missiles that was added on US and Russian aircraft’s giving more accurate min and max ranges when slaved to radar ?
Dunno about that but for now priroties aren’t located on these fields if you want more info @DirectSupport might answer your questions better than i can.
AH-129D uses M197 (20x102 mm) while M781 from HAD uses 30x113 mm designed to engage light armored vehicle and soldier (precision rocket aceuleus and AGM being there to engage heavy armor)
Btw as a reminder the DEFA from the mirage family are also using 30x113 ammo but it is no compatible with the 30x113 of the M781
I don’t believe the 5F or Etendard IV variant in-game can carry it. The SEM should be able to carry two, but I believe that carrying 1 was the standard procedure.
That’s not a Mirage 5F (If we got a Mirage 50 variant, that could also carry it), that’s a Mirage 2000. If we got an Exocet on the Mirage 2000 series, we should get the AM39 variant of the Exocet as well rather than the older one.
