I found some photos that may prove it can take 6-8 AASMs? but I am not an expert, just google that.
I’m really not sure as to what would be the layout bf. This îcture is just dummy, not even practice bombs so I’ll take it with a bit of care
That’s a 2000N used by the DGA, this loadout was used once to test the flight performance with the maximum loadout (dummy here as vizender said), the only AASM shot with a Mirage 2000 were shot with this same plane and were carried on the center pylon
they sound amazing
Good morning Mirage 2000 enjoyers, here is a bug report to add the GBU-22 currently on the Rafale on the Mirage 2000D RMV
@WaretaGarasu Hey is there any chance that Mirage 4000 would receive its historical chaff? Currently it’s still passed as suggestion. I’m fine if Gaijin would consider increase its BR if it got its historical chaff. France still had the 13.0 Belgian F-16.
More chaffs wouldn’t make it better enough to make it a 13.0
For me, more chaff especially large calibre chaff really makes the aircraft pretty much invincible to Fox 3 spam in the early game.
Well of course in the end this is my opinion. If Gaijin decided to still keep the suggestion, well I can’t argue no more.
Having large Chaffs is still situationnal, even if it’s better for decoying Fox-3.
Most of the time, Fox-3 kills me only when i was 5km head-on to my ennemy, and i do use only Light Chaffs, (so, there is pilots errors on my side) and good chaff use make the difference ^^"
well well well
it looks really good
Now we need the gbu-22 and the plane is complete. (for now)
well the thing about the mirage 2000 series and AASM is, that the only Mirage 2000 version the AASM was tested on was 2000N (if i remember correctly), but i guess gaijin went with “well D is developed from N, therefore it can carry it”
I mean if its theoretical and Is possible. Other than that, i hope they give ut the 22s as they were used on It, for the MICAs i dont think its the right time, i just dont want to see the same treatment of the 29s = (not adding MICA IR for balance and giving It a lower br) for both the 2000s.
The plane is horrible honestly. He could have come out 2/3 years ago in this state and it wouldn’t have changed anything.
oups wrong topic my bad
It’s basically a supporto cas, It would be nice if It was good at that.
I thought we were talking about the Rafale, sorry
Concerning the carriage of AASM under mirage, the bombs were “qualified” for firing using a DGA Mirage 2000N modified for firing campaigns, this campaign ended in 2010. However, Dassault opposed its use on the French Mirage 2000 for several years, wishing to make it exclusive to the Rafale. A few years ago this opposition was raised (mostly to sell it to other countries without the Rafale) but the French army has not shown any particular interest to use it with the Mirage 2000.
For the physical capacity of the 2000D RMV to fire this weapons, this can be debated, the 2000N (number 309 if my memory serves me correctly) is an aircraft that has been modified, however we do not know the nature of all the changes made and if they are necessary for the implementation of the AASM
The first chance to see an operational Mirage 2000 with AASM will probably be in the coming months, with a study underway to integrate it into the Mirage 2000-5F which will be delivered to Ukraine.
Can someone bug report that the Mirage 2000D RMV can carry the AASM Hammer on the rear fuselage pylons. As of now it cannot.
They can be carried on all pylons that the 250 lb bombs can be fitted to.
Which would bring the count to 7 guided AG weapons.
