Certainly not, J-10’s acceleration compensate its lacking top speed a lot in any situation, meanwhile you have to deal with underperforming MICA missiles and average acceleration in Mirage2k.

RDY is not something special, especially if you compare it to Gripen’s,F15’s and Su-34’s radar.
J-10’s radar is pretty consistent and has quite good scan speed.
Also let me remind you that ingame J-10 is early A variant, meanwhile we can get J-10B/C and multiple improved versions that has much better radar,missiles,engine and other stuffs.
If early model J-10 can beat Mirage2K without too much effort just imagine what would happen when late models arrives.
The overclocking of the j10a is also not very good. When I fly it, I can see directly how other planes are flying forward, it is very difficult to climb, and after supersonic speed acceleration stops altogether. I tore my wings several times on the mirage 2000 from exceeding the maximum speed, on the j10 I never accelerated to flutter, except in a dive. It’s very sad.
In my opinion, MICA-EM would have been easier to use if the azimuth angle of the RDY radar was 85 degrees like J-10.
Still wouldnt change its overall performance, it underperforms quite significantly.
When it recieves its true performance it will become one of the best Fox-3 missiles in this game, but i can say the same thing for PL-12 as well.
Even the early j10 should accelerate and gain altitude better than the Mirage 2000. And the j10B and J10C are still a very long time away, and they will no longer resist the mirage, but the rafale, Eurofighter and a bunch of other ultra-modern aircraft
I’m aware that current J-10 has wrong drag values, sadly gaijin refuses to fix this.
Im not sure about that part, We already got F-15E and im pretty sure Gaijin will introduce Eurofighter and Rafale with December Uptade, there is no reason not to add J-10B/C when those planes arrives.
The Pl-12 should be the best missile in the game at the moment. But they decided to balance it, apparently. I am sure in the future they will either add some later pl-12, which will be at the level of 120C, or simply raise the characteristics of the current pl-12. But I’m more inclined to the former

I don’t believe in Rafale and Eurofighter until mid-2025. In December, there will be a patch with naval aviation, f18, j15, su33. To be honest, I don’t even believe that they will appear at all in 2025.
I’m talking about the current meta which for IMHO, relies on high speed and faster escape from furball. This is why F-15E during the patch day are literally overpowered and invincible, a faster aircraft in every scenario would gurantee a faster missile launch, and also faster escape from NEZ. I do agree J-10 will beat the current Mirage 2000 FM at every point. But unfortunately, 1v1 scenario rarely happen in top tier, that’s why J-10 is still not fit with the meta (at least for me, if you disgaree well I couldn’t disgaree more) unless they fix the straight line drag, J-10 would survive more in current meta.
Well isn’t Gripen engine already underpowered? While Mirage 2000 engine pretty much can counterweight the aircraft weight which is the reason why I think it’s pretty realistic that Mirage 2000 have the lowest drag in all of top tier aircraft. The engine are indeed underpowered, that’s why in high altitude, Mirage 2000 would still lose to F-15E racing to Mach 2.
Yes, the J-10 have better acceleration. But again, I can’t stand to its high drag in straight line. The J-10 Threads aren’t as active as this thread, does there already a people who make a bug report regarding J-10 drag in a straight line?
Ehh one can only hope, plus latest rumors indicates that we will receive them in December.

Well, there’s a surprise chance that Rafale M would come in this winter patch. I take the precedent based on suggestion passed to developer November last year, that one of the suggestions was Mirage 4000, and bam, we got Mirage 4000 in a surprise in the Air Superiority Updates.

You do realize you can just side fly and enter the furball later right? Thats always what i do in my Gripen-J10 and Mirage2k and mostly it gives me quite success.
F-15E is overpowered due to its bullshit flight performance, its already nerfed twice but i believe its still overperforming quite a lot, also i can easily say i dont like the playstyle of F-15E.
It doesnt have the same agility that F-15C has and having one gimmick is actually dissapointed me, i feel much more comfortable in my J-10 actually.
Personal opinions are different so i can understand, but my money is on J-10 in this case.

I dont know tbh, i checked the bug report site and saw two reports about straight line speed, both got refused by Gaijin anyway, safe to say they are quite stubborn in this case.

Im not claiming that both Rafale and EFT will arrive in december but i have high hopes for them, especially for Rafale.
By the way, the Rafale M F01 may appear in the December update. The plane had only mica and magic 2
