even maybe AASM if devs really want to differentiate R1 and RMV
With the Epav’s, new Gunpod, thalios, ground radar (hopefully with a2a capability), More pylons for guided bombs (AuF1) and windows 7 to support all that, i think they will be different enough. no need to give AASM to the plane that never carried it.
Shhhh. Don’t say it like that. Also I think devs should still be considering it, since half of the reports (ground radar, more pylons, some of the armement) is also retroactive to the R1
I’m taliking next week update for sure not coming. For later I don’t really know. It will depend on Gaijin’s calendar. I’d guess later than sooner (seeing ARH took so long to come)
I would guess similar. But in all fairness Thalios should barely be different than Damocles in game. It’s going to be I would expect a gen3+ pod with a very good zoom to accommodate for long range weaponry such as the AASM for when it come I’d guess. But until render distance is improved, there’s going to be few benefits
I don’t really know much about their operational efficiency. But, considering the best thermal generation in game is 3+ (or 3.5 if you prefer), and that, iirc, Damocles is gen3, then 3+ would make sense for those TGP
Mig 29 with R73 would almost be identical to 29 SMT except for the R77 so 29 SMT wouldn’t have made sense when it was introduced, F14 with R27 has nothing to do about Balance as F14 with usual loadouts are balanced already, Yak 141 is ccompletely fake and made on half complete charts gaijin added it out of BIAS. There is nothing linked to balance here. First case is to avoid having a BR gap in the Air tree, the second case is irrelevant and the third case is BIAS.
It was time they did something. Unfortunately they are too dumb to have realized the other 2000 equipped with spirale should have 112 chaff too and the 4000 should get 336 chaffs because it has 2 Sycomore pods developped for the 4000 that holds 168 Chaffs each
