The standard 3 (S3) planes were equiped with a RDM radar and M53-5 engines. Magics only (and maybe 530F, not sure)
The Standard 4 (S4) planes are equiped with a RDI and M53-P2 engine. Magics and 530D. The only real difference with the S5 is that it’s an earlier version of the RDI so maybe less modes
S4 are the first to use 530D, no big difference with S5
Given the minor differences between the 2000C S5 and S4, i think it will just be a copy paste premium, like the Mirage F1 C-200. The S3 (that was datamined a long time ago if my memory is right) would be really different, although it has a worse engine (M53-5), worse radar (RDM) and worse radar missile (530F).
Not sure about that but it seems that when some 2000C where upgraded to the 2000-5 standard, with the RDY radar, the 2000C S3 where retrofited with the RDI radar
I guess Mirage 2000C-S4 it might not as a aircraft premium pre-order pack rank 8 until gaijin introduced rank 9 in the future, but guess might be event vehicle rank 8 for france

In case everyone was curious what the difference between S4 and S5 was IRL, the only difference is that S5 was equipped with MAWS, while S4 was not. So if S4 comes into the game, it is not eligible for MAWS.
With that said, Olivia said it has Super 530D and Magic 2s. It would be functionally the same with no differences and be placed at 11.7.
The only question is if it’ll be premium or event vehicle.
Premium would be strange, or they are already planing a new rank for aircraft? With rafale?
I wonder if S4 was a typo since S3 has been in the CDK for a while. I was expecting S3 to be released as a Squadron vehicle in the future

I guess gaijin maybe introduced rank 9 for fighter aircraft toptier (13.0 ~ 13.7 BR) with aircraft premium pre-order pack rank 8 in Q4 2024 or Q3 2025
I think they went with S4 since that model can actually guide 530D, and Gaijin knows how much people hate 530F. VIsually theres propably minimal changes so its easy to just change name and certain attributes.
There is a mistake in the M4000 blog they just release. they’re telling “controllable canards in front of the engine air intakes” but this is wrong, that’s explain why the M4000 turn rate is so high in the game, if they did this mistake.
They didn’t visually move in the dev server, at least
In fact it’s not completely a mistake, IRL canards can move in the 4000 but they are far from thoses of the Rafale or Grippen, more informations in this bug report :

Good news, they buffed the rip speed of Mirage 4000, but there’s still no buff to Mirage 2000 rip speed.
Btw, anyone felt the Mirage 2000 afterburner thrust also increased? Several match I played in Dev Server, I felt the M2K are more easier to reach rip speed despite I’m having full tank.

What a year, we have Mirage 2000-5 buff, Mirage 4000, and now free Mirage 2000.
