This doesn’t matter. 530Fs aren’t going to do anything 9 times out of 10 if not worse odds. The F1C also has half the flight model and worse RWR/bombing ability.
While the discussion is still about the Mirage F1, I’m taking the opportunity to post this bug report. This is a second one for the same problem, but since the devs missed the first one, here is the second iteration.
[DEV] Mirage F1 (all) missing second Phimat pod // Gaijin.net // Issues
I just realized that the Mirage 2000D RMV never received its Gbu-16s in-game. The bug report was marked as “fixed” but the aircraft never received them. This further increases the number of weapons missing from the aircraft.

@WaretaGarasu Sorry to bother you, a few months ago when the Mirage 2000D RMV was added you had forwared the various bug reports concerning the missing weapons on the aircraft. The bug report below concerning the addition of the Gbu-16 on the aircraft is marked as fixed however the bomb has not been added, do you know if it is a bug or an oversight ?

Bruh
New bug report that includes various elements from the previous report. This bug report is really important because it would finally bring a real bombing capability to the Mirage 2000, increasing the number of 250kg bombs to 16 or even 18 for some models.
Although the old bug report was forwarded several years ago, no corrections have been made and it would be good if that changed.
And here is the same bug report for the Mirage F1s, which could install the CLB8 under its wings to carry 4 additional 250kg bombs
I have read the Mirage 2K-D could not use radar MICAs.
I believe his post was ironic (he is one of my friend so I’m pretty sure that it was)
Otherwise, yes the Mirage 2000D RMV can’t carry Mica EM
Can still get MICA IR though. Having a couple R27ETs don’t hurt even at 13.7 if IRCCM works.
And another bug report regarding the missing guided bombs on the Mirage 2000D RMV
Mirage 2000D RMV missing guided bombs // Gaijin.net // Issues
Of course the Mica IR are compatible, but to be honest I’m a little afraid of what this addition will do to the plane’s Br, if they raise it too high in Br it will remain playable but much less than what it is today
I mean R-27ETs work fine, a more manoeuvrable IR missile with better IRCCM will do even better. And if limited to say, 16 km, I think 13.3 or 13.7 depending on how many it brings is pretty nice.
It will have 2 at most and the performance should still be well above the R-27 ET (even if the R27ET goes further and faster, the MICA IR cannot in theory be flared and turns 50G, with the HMD it would be an absolutely devastating weapon), I’m just afraid they’ll put it in 14.0 because of that
Yeah but you wouldn’t be able to do 50km launch no ? it would be like what 15-20km max from it ?
So IRL you can launch the missile on a datalink position, so technically you can fire it at its maximum range from the front or backwards. On the other hand, in game since the datalink is not modeled you will be able to fire it at the max IR lock range (I hope that a radar lock would allow you to fire it within the radar range of the Antelope)
i’ll add just something : some exports twin seaters Mirage 2000-5 can carry the MICA in the same way the single seater does.
Here is a greek Mirage 2000-5BG
and here a Taiwanese Mirage 2000-5DI
Also, even with 2 unflarable missiles i don’t think it would be 14.0… just because i think everyone will get their counterparts ( Aim 9X per example ) at the same time. When it will get 2 MICA IR, the Rafale will have 8 of them, so when the 2000D-RMV will go up, i’m expecting it to go between 13.0 and 13.3, not more.
For the two-seater versions equipped with six Micas, they are all variants of the Mirage 2000B (If I’m not mistaken, these are the 2000Bs that have been improved and not new aircraft based on the 5F standard.) or the Mirage 2000-5F Mk2, which are an improvement of the 2000-5F. France has a few two-seater Mirage 2000s that can carry Mica EMs.
Regarding the equivalence of modern IR missiles, the problem with the Mica is that it has no real equivalent. It may not be the best in terms of instantaneous turning or gimbal limitation, but its range makes it a unique weapon (though in-game it will probably be so nerfed that it won’t necessarily stand out).
Sooo guys quick question.
Do you think it is possible for the M2K to accelerate at supersonic speeds and then it can keep said speed when turning of post combustion ?
