Is it just me or that the guided bombs used to have more damage and/or reward?
I don’t think Mirage is good for that anyways even without added weight, sustained turn rate for any delta wing… The first turn for Mirage is great but after that F15s take over. With Mirage 2KD I think even in first turn it is a 50/50 if not 40/60.
On the DEV Server, BVVD showed that there is now a button to recenter the radar scan zone (at least vertically, maybe horizontally too).
Moreover, we now will have a keybind to to switch radar stabilization on and off, while also getting an ability to move the scan zone up/down while it is off.
Don’t know if your request pushed the devs to implement it or if they already had this planned / in development, but thank you anyway.
Yeah i wanted to report the new armaments but i guess we will need to wait until we see picture of it because there isn’t any official documents about as far as i saw after trying to search about it and it is vague when they talk about the air to ground change they did on the mirage 2k5f.
And it might get complicated if information is combat footage with just the claimed plane that launched the bomb without seeing it actually dropping the aasm etc.
erm, so with this statement, we might consider making a bug report that mirage 2000 series have a AOA off switch, if somebody has something that can prove it, i would really appreciate him doing the bug report >_<
Another great job from DirectSupport, which does a lot for French stuff.
Sadly Devs are really annoying when it comes to European stuff, while most of the time it’s a European tech that is Reverse-engineered onto US or RU crap ^^"
I inquired an expert on the M2K about this, there’s no way to have an AoA off-switch on the Mirage 2000. But more reports on the Mirage 2000s are planned to come.
so… are the two switches in the dcs m2k c not realistic or something (i know dcs isnt a source, its just i think i remember razbam working with french Armée de l’air, so i would assume it would be quite close)
and also curious, what reports you think of doing? what is missing?
The Fly-by-wire G limiter switch doesn’t disable the flight control system. You can revert to fixed gains for the CDVE, meaning that the system ignore speed, altitude, pressure, temperature etc. But the CDVE are still in control. The only way to have it fail is damage or failure
Mirage 2000s are missing RWR coverage below the aircraft.
Mirage 2000s should have cruise capabilities (could mean increased thrust and decreased drag similar to what happened with Rafale’s cruise capabilities)
Mirage 2000s landing run (gear brakes could use a buff to slow down quicker)
Missing air to surface modes (Air to surface ship track, GMTI, GTT)
Mirage 2000s are missing countermeasure sensor fusion
