As long as it doesn’t serve as an excuse to upgrade it from BR to air battle it can be worth it.
However I am for having planes that are as close to reality as possible in the game and the 2000D RMV offers other weapons that are rather interesting.
Just to check with you @Mathll, for all the GBUs the plane should have access to :
- GBU 48
- GBU 49
- GBU 50
- GBU 12
- GBU 16
- GBU 22
- GBU 24
Is everything reported/already in game ?
I have made the reports for all the missing weapons normally, however it is complicated to find images of use of GBU 16, 22 and 48.
One of the missing weapons that I have put in bug report is the BAT-120LB, it is a light bomb of 35kg that the 2000D RMV can embark.

The GBU I mentioned are from this website, which is primary source :
https://www.defense.gouv.fr/air/nos-aeronefs/nos-avions/mirage-2000#:~:text=Un%20armement%20complet&text=Il%20peut%20emporter%20les%20munitions,bombes%20de%20précision%20tout%20temps.
All other bombs are not mentioned here but can be proven using the pictures you found
Well, all of your links are also primary, so that helps. Maybe you should mention that defence.gouv is primary since operated by the armies ?
I use the same source
are the bat 120lg like gbu39?
oh its laser guided nvm
its gonna be lowkey useless since its laser guided, but its always nice to see
like what is even the point?
Not quite, they are 35kg laser-guided bombs with about 10kg of explosive. It is a bomb that is loaded in clusters of 3, 6 or 9 and has a very short range (5 to 8 km for a shot at 5 km altitude). It is a bomb made to hit weakly armored targets.
In theory the 2000D RMV could load 27 at most
Well, it’s a M2K, in a M2K thread. Guess this thread is going international now
How many GBU 39 would it have access to ?
- BAT-120LG
In theory 9 in the ventral and 9 under each wing so around 27 (this is not certain, the ammunition is very recent (tested in 2018) and little information has been disclosed)
yeah, i didnt want a unique jet in the first place. my bad for playing the french tech tree instead of china really
well in ground rb you aint gonna see much light armored targets, and even then, spaa will shoot it down
and in air sim, first of all its not fire and forget so its almost a death sentence guiding it in, and then there aint much light targets there. if it had GPS capability i could atleast see it being used in ASB ngl
I think that in ASB it can be used, especially to hit the AA of convoys and AI clashes (the precision is supposed to be of the order of centimeters so there is a way to do something)It will just take longer to do damage because we will be limited to one bomb dropped per passage.
hmm, i guess you are right, taking one pylon of those and then the bigger LGB’s to hit armored targets could work, especially since the battles will now disappear in seconds due to the gbu39 and jdams, and convoys are usually not focused on.
But the problem of time still will remain, it will take lot of time to guide a LGB into a target, and then go around and do the same. Gives enemy time to find you usually
That’s the biggest problem. But it is a common one with almost every attack aircraft
It is also ironic that the Taiwanese Mirage 2000 is at the end of the line, if this so, the Taiwanese Mirage 2000 should’ve before J-10 rather than after J-10.
