Mirage 2000D and Mirage 2000C-S5 did use MAWS. But can never be too sure what Gaijin gives MAWS to. Mirage 2000C-S4 shouldn’t expect MAWS.
Well, Gaijin doesn’t want to give it the basic Magic 2s, so I think we’re safe there.
Mirage 2000Cs at 12.0 with MAW and R530D, with maybe the C-S3 and below with R530F and no MAW (and less CM) would create new BR brackets for the planes, especially since I expect the -5F to go up with its MICA
It looks to be going up to 12.3 → 13.0. Maybe further decompression for all top tiers will have it be moved to 13.3

yeah 12.3 and 13.0 seems a bit light to me for fox 3s. There are a ton of planes that should not face those missiles at 11.3. I’m thinking of the F1C for exemple with a piss poor RWR and FM making it very dangerous to fly near AMRAAM carriers…
The Super 530F is really a poor missile already at 11.3 because it’s still pulse, so it eat chaffs like an american eat Hamburgers, everybody else has doppler radar missiles at this point, it’s the standard.
The 2000C-S3 has to come as the upgraded version in the late 90’s with the RDI/Super 530D. There is still a significant difference with the S4/S5 however, with the earlier M53-5 engine that is substantially worse than the later M53-P2 ( 88kN intead of 95kN of thrust )
530F insu great, true, but the 2 Magic 2 combo (especially with potential other buffs), MAW and M2K platform is excellent, 12.0 material
but as i said, the engine of the 2000C-S3 is significantly worse, hurting the flight perfomances, and i dont know if it has a MAWS, as far as i remember only the S5 and -5 did
Not true, devs said M53-5 engine would be slightly worse.
From what i can read it has 88kN instead of 95, it has something to do with the thrust curves at different speeds or did they consider this difference as “slightly worse” ?

The devs made asumptions on the thrust profiles for these engine variants that led them to the conclusion that there isn’t a big difference between -5 and -P2.
That’s what they explained when discussing the M4K engines.

So with the coming update we got more 40 G+ missile like the Piranha Missile of the new AMX Premium, would this justify the 50 G performance of Magic 2? @DirectSupport
We will have lot of fun in the mirage 2000-5 with this loadout

Not unless they’re using combined plane. It’s no longer about the overload number itself as devs have said. It is about the combined overload feature.
Only thing left to see is if it also gets MAWS
