Right I figured, I was just talking of the current in game situation. I mostly spend my life enjoying the bliss that is the Fox Hunter Stage-2G. Which based on all the radars I’ve used is just so much better.
But isn’t that radar still gimped in rear aspect?
Hell no, Stage-2G can easily track in all aspect in its HPRF mode. There are some nuances when there is excess clutter combined with look down. Or if you end up cospeed. But for the most part it will track in all aspect no issues.
Abeam;
rear aspect;
Can be alittle tricky with the MIG-15’s as they’re a small target size, but larger RCS targets F-4’s F-16’s etc etc no problem.
More rear aspect;
What was the case put forth to make this possible for a HPRF radar? Cause currently this radar has an even lower notch zone than MPRF radars
I suppose we will see, I don’t even like France but this missile is so grievously underperforming it is hard not to pitch in when you can make a difference.
Yet you’ve done so much! Thanks!
Is there any aircraft than M2K that have very long FM that need to be fixed? It’s been a long way since Drone Age Update, and M2K still getting FM update. I remember back when the M2K-5F being the literal same as M2KC-S5 but with PD lmao.
Equipements aren’t FM related, but Avionics/weapons related.
How come the RDM-3 is now locking chaff and ignoring targets as much as possible ?
Is it scuffed because of the automatic mode selection ? Or was it that much of a threat to F-15s that it needed a nerf ?
Its a bug affecting every radar’s ACM mode. There’s a report out for it and there’s nothing we can do but wait.
Those were what I was referencing in this post - they seem to be in the spots where the MICA pylons go, but they’re not the full model.
Trying something again : M4K underperforms in acceleration
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/s7r7kmFshN2u
Performing an acceleration test with fixed fuel isn’t representative of real testing. The aircraft in your source would be getting lighter throughout the climb where as your test has a fixed weight throughout.
I have only 1 question. Why Mirage 200d1 cant carry unguided bombs like 1000lbs or SAMP 400kg? The top tier french attacker is underpowered, only 250kg bomb. Not realist and also very frustating.
anyone have reported that? No SAMP 400KG or 1000lbs USA on Mirage 2000D1? i see only report for laser bomb.
cmon see that? only 500lbs? Is ridiculus
Thanks for your input, I’m updating my report!
It’s a massive issue when we think about it : 15% worse time despite having around 10 to 15% more thrust.
it explain how odd the 4000 feel to fly compared to the 2000 : despite having a better TWR than the 2000, the acceleration is barely better below mach 1 and even worse than the 2000 after mach 1.
The question is : why it behave like this ? maybe the drag is too high ?
