Seeing as there’s something under the aircraft just behind the radome that isn’t present on production aircraft, I’d guess that it’s a prototype aircraft and so current vehicles wouldn’t qualify for AASM.

Thanks to the last event, i finally finished to grind, unlock and spaded the SA Grippen C in Britain TT.
So i took it in sim and… i’m wondering why Mirage 2000-5F still not have his TWS PD mode (with no HDN). I tought no plane in WT had this radar mode , and it was considered as suggestion for a futur update of radar, ( from acknowledge of @DirectSupport Bug report, to "suggestion send to dev). Well it’s seems it’s not the case.
Still hoping to see an upgrade of Magic 2 (50G, more range?) before Fox 3 update. Since CM said MICA could not be in the first update of Fox 3.

really??? not even the EM? I can admit that with its image seeker and advanced IRCCM the IR is too advanced for this stage of the game, but wow.
I’d be interested to know where you got the informations that the MICA would not come along other fox 3s. Last I heard Smin just said that the missile was to advanced for the game as it was (before the last major update) in a way that meant that no advanced fox 3s were ready yet

Nothing has been said about presence or not of the MICA EM or IR in Fox3 update, don’t know erither who tf stated there would be a first Fox3 update it’s gonna be an update introducing Fox3s for many if not all nations. There just have been some guesses arround the subject and for now IR is esteemed to be too strong not EM.

i thought smin was just trying to have a neutral statement and said not in the next major update meaning current update or did they say it again.
I believe devs want to add automatic modes to a lot of western radars which would fix the issues, so they’re more focused on that.
They will probably add a heavily nerfed version of the mica em to the 5F and call it a day lol

The original message could be either interpret as:
- “MICA is not coming, at the moment, everyone is fine with the current meta with fox 1, and the only fox 3 (aim154) is not breaking the balance”
or as - "MICA is not coming in the “first batch” of fox 3 because MICA is too advanced compared to the early version of fox 3 (aka 120A-120B, and R-27A/R27EA )
One one reason i prefer to said “could” not appear, as it’s not sure, and things can be change. Like the introduction of Mirage 3C and Magic 1
Since i rechecked it “seem” to be the first option, as he mention R-27er and not other fox 3.
But at the same time, one of the devblog (the J-8 if iirc), said that PL-12 (fox 3)will come for sure with others nations fox 3, but never said “all nation fox 3”
So it would interressing to know “how far” Mica is considered as “advanced” in the devs mind. Even compared to early version of fox 3

So we have the same message in mind :). I took it as the first option personally, because I reckon me might see AIM120C directly considering the set of vehicles we already have in game
