Its 75K for the whole tier 3 row of mods. Its just there’s only the one mod to divide it up by, if there were 3 mods they’d be 25K each.
It keeps the total modification RP needed consistent and doesn’t punish planes for simply having more mods.
This is a logical fallacy.
If you have more mods in a row, you have more capabilities, ie. more tools to win, particularly in weapons section.
Here, not only you get a single tool, but you pay it, as if you gotten several extra tools, which is just undefendable.
Not really, battle ratings are based on fully spaded capabilities, more mods would mean more of its spaded capabilities have been removed when stock.
not a logical fallacy, just how the game works
No, they’re not as Chinese F16MLU and US F16A ADF show, eg.
120 in the US’ F16 costs 43k RP, while in Chinese MLU it’s 21k RP, so for the price of US’ 120, you get 120 and a new engine or Harpoon or Maverick in Chinese MLU.
Also, Chinese MLU is 261.8k total RP, while US’ is 267k RP, while both being the same BR.
Yeah, game works illogically.
OP is right to call that out.
weird sure, not really illogical, and definitely not a fallacy, it abides by rules that gaijin has set being, modification ranks have a set RP value which is split between all the modifications of that rank, its perfectly ‘logical’
So, when something is illogical, it’s politically correct to call it “weird”, today?
i mean you do you, its just not a fallacy
Logical fallacy:
A logical fallacy is a flaw in reasoning that makes an argument invalid.
The quote fails to produce a valid argument.
So, the plane with more mods and more capabilities is, somehow, endangered to being “punished” for that greater capability and has reduced mod RP costs, instead??
Care to explain that reasoning and a valid argument derived from it?
thats not really it, youre looking way to deeply at this based purely off of a worst case scenario
there isnt a reason for this that is known to us (if a real one even exists) so there is no point arguing the logic of it
What’s “worst case scenario”?
Is there a “best case scenario”?
How many scenarios there is?
So, having 120 cost more than double in one F16 vs another (same BR) isn’t a reason for questioning the logic of it?
the worst case scenario being the like 5 vehicles in the whole game that only have 1 modification in a rank
the best case scenario is that it took you till now to notice this at all
they may be the same BR but they are not the same plane
How many mods are in the modification rank for each AIM-120 modification there?
The actual cost of the modifications is dependent on how many mods there are per rank.
More mods in the rank means each mod tends to be cheaper, same goes vice-versa.
It’s how the French squadron F-16 has a 100k RP engine modification
Ah, so we’re bargaining with the “rules”, now…
Which is the core of that illogical fallacy, that OP correctly noted.
what?
how?
not really, its more of a fallacy to say two different things should be treated the same way
What exactly about it is logical fallacy?
He just described how modifications work in game.
It is completly unrelated to how useful the modification actually is.
But two different things are treated the same way.
You need the same total RP (actually even less) to get more capabilities in Chinese F16MLU, than in the US F16 ADF, which are treated the same (same BR).
Seriously, which part you don’t understand?
so they arent being treated the same way
I understand how the rules of the game work perfectly, they are consistent and structured, this is a game, it is not necessarily bound by what is ‘logical’ to us or whatever because gaijin can have their own reasons for something that are completely unknown or the opposite of what we the players want. therefore having a consistent set of rules that everything abides by is the best option in this case those rules are simple
There aren’t levels of logic.
There’s one logic. Maybe consult with Aristotle?
GJ’s “rules” are illogical, ie. wrong, which is OP’s point, which is correct.
Ok?
