Actually i’ve won against F-20 with that one once. But that’s just as a meme, AOA limiter for 99% of the cases is a hindrance.

At least on flankers and some other jets the AoA off is somewhat stable, on the 29 is literally a death sentence.

Remember how on dev and for some time on release AOA button on a MiG-29 also disabled your afterburner? As if you need to bleed your speed even more.

Yeah lol, I think it even made it to the first few days of live…
It’s good aircraft, but honestly, after even playing the 13.0 Su-27S. MiG-29SMT is just unbearable, like it has way inferior FM, and the only edge over the 13.0 Su-27S and 13.7 Su-27SM is the avionics and CM count, which is honestly is great.
And with the coming of Su-30MK2 to War Thunder, 13.3 would be either heaven or hell, because the chance of full downtier and constant uptier would way stronger than before the arrival of that aircraft.
Like, I really believe that the old MiG-29 FM is now currently in JF-17 because when I play it, I really feel dejavu and I remember MiG-29 used to have kind of this FM.

the original MiG-29 are okayish, it’s because of the BR, I literally played it as glorified MiG-23MLD. Hit and run.

i dunno how good of a source this book is, but… 120 countermeasures as well as RWR capable of giving guidance to antirad missiles (which is a indirect hint towards L-150 because it has this functionality listed)
Funny, so 29M and 29K were developed with completely different sets of launchers despite being developed on a similar airframe.
Both M and K listed.
I unlocked the rafail on friday, hardly touched it. Mig 29 SMT is actually more fun.
13.0/ 13.3 matchnaker is the best ATM… every game is full of f18. Dodge the f14 spam early game and the sky is free.
I cannot find dispensers on 9-15 photos. Maybe prototypes didn’t had them IDK.

Also a valid option. They are present on every single airframe that is evolved from 9-15 or 9-31. And i can’t find a SINGLE photo where you could see this part of the airframe close enough to see details
