Anyone know a bit about the CM dispensers on the 9-15? they are mentioned as being mounted inside the spine of the aircraft but it doesnt look like there is any opening or something similar for it. Anyone also have any clear pics from the spine region of it

I tried to dig a bit as you can see above, but considering there’s barely any photos of 9-15 up close, as well as every single 9-15 being pre-production airframe that might not even have them installed. And if they are placed there -looking at Su-17 and how hard it is to actually find those 12 spine flares on photos even up close - good luck in searching.
definitely seems more than the 2 x 16 dispensers we have seen so far on these MiGs, doing a reverse image search on the first image mentioned it as a egyptian MiG-29M #801 as for the second image i wasnt able to find anything about who the operator is meant to be only that the image is from march 2013 taken at zhukovsky airport so its not a egyptian spec MiG-29M since the order was first placed in 2015.
Perhaps the larger CM dispensers was a custom spec made by the Egyptians, i will have to try and find some more info about this tbh. but with this logic perhaps it can be argued that since the airframe is capable of carrying a larger different CM dispenser it can be applied to all other MiG-29M/35 airframes aswell

I’d rather have it at 12.7 with 27r and R-73’s, we already have a squad Belgian block 15 that can take 6 IRCCM at the same BR, I don’t understand what’s stopping them.

older model with only r60m and r27r/t at 12.3 and the 9.13 model with r73 at 12.7, same goes for the mig29g (better have a r27er at 13,0 and give r73 for the 12.7 model)
russian bias crowd would go crazy if they hear IRCCM missile at 12.7 with a soviet plane
france bais exist and deserve all hate, cant play without having a mirage f1/2000c/2000d with irccm at 12.0 and 12.7 not to forget the f16 with 4 irccm and 12.7 and the hell itself, m4000 with 8 irccm

there is a lot of other tree plane with better treatment than the original one, just llike belg f16 with 6 irccm at 12,7 and the usa f16 with aim9 no irccm at the same br, same why the belg f16 is still at 13.7 with aim120a while all other f16 with aim120a is at 13.3 ( maybe it go better cas )
