In the game, the MiG-29 has a lift coefficient of 1.2M lower than 0.8M in reality it’s the opposite

would this change sep considerably?
How was this chart computed?
At dogfighting speeds unlikely
I have no idea. The programme seems to be taking data from the game
Need to know how the chart was made first… also I don’t know how the game code works with supersonic speeds, at subsonic speeds MiG-29 always seemed fine when using the manual’s polars
Question, does the MiG-29 in WT generate more drag than IRL? You’ve told me the instructor is what is fucking up the FM, but is there more? I’ve seen some people argue that the MiG-29 is underperforming outright in raw numbers.
Who knows what is messed up, it matches sustained turn rates but can’t perform basic aerobatic maneuvers iaw the manual. It can’t do anything a real mig-29 does at airshows.
Hello, everyone. I’ve been experiencing this bug for some time now. I frequently lose kills or even get taken down because the radar lock switches to IRST on its own. This has been happening with any Fulcrum or Flanker family aircraft I’ve flown in the past few weeks. I would like to know if anyone else has been facing this issue.
Yeah, incredibly annoying. They added a feature where the radar lock switches to IRST when it becomes unstable (or just that the game switches sensors/modes to the ones it thinks would be more preferable). The problem is, the game thinks that the lock is unstable too often and switches to IRDT at worst times. Not only that, there is no way to switch back with the usual keybind, you have to break lock and lock it again with radar. As a cherry on top, most of the time you don’t even notice it has switched back because the change in interface is so minor.
Oh, and this happens sometimes too:
cant you switch back to normal pd lock by pressing the switch pd/irst keybind
Usually, no. The game will pretend to switch (you will see that the vertical and horizontal limits will change) but will still stay in IRST and not let you launch radar missiles.
no u cant, it literally freezes in lock IR
It does feel like the drag might be too high, but maybe it’s also the instructor.
Is there any way of like making a player made battle and limit aircraft °/s?
i mean to be fair as far as the fuel spine is concerned according to all the 29 pilot accounts i’ve listened to, the effect on aircraft performance is pretty much negligible, unlike in game where its very noticeably detrimental in the case of the SMT.
Properly it should be switching to the OLS master channel, but if the capture fails then it is an error.
GPS probably
