The only “upgraded” MiG-29 that can use ERs is MiG-29S, it has brand new FCS and upgraded radar. And, well, stuff like SMT, but that’s besides the point. SUV-29 simply can’t use any R-27 outside of R

Well, we’ll see what they will say. Because even if we are going about mental gymanstics of upgraded MiGs, only USSR/Russia and Malaysia have MiG-29S airframes available (and some countries that were part of USSR like Ukraine).

i am not sure what model is but these were spoted in syria flying, they might be russian plane.
Russia doesn’t have M2s. MiG-29K and KUB were used in Syria, it was the last time Kuznetsov took combat action iirc

I think at this point Russia only has SMTs. Maybe some of the 9-13S airframes remain in service but it’s hard to say for sure. It is definitely not MiG-35, because Russia only ordered 6 of them and they all used in Moscow PVO squadron
they dont have neck hump. plus it looks to me they are double seat variant.

Those are definitely single seaters, you can see a pilots head in a cockpit. I think those are Syria owned jets, livery doesn’t look like Russian one.

The camo looks a bit different from all other MiG-29s I have seen from them so is this even a new video or is it even from Syria?
Also weird that new MiG-29 delivery’s would take place in the first place with the new government
new government doesn’t seem to be really against Russia from my understanding, and money is money, not like they get cutting edge MiG-35 airframes. Looking at this - this is 9.18 standart SMTs at best, but most likely just 9.12SD

What I have info it was AI generated imagery which is very likely when looking at the tail fins in video.
The voice in the video does sound a little bit AI as well, but I’m not gonna say it is or isn’t fake.
