I think it’s a 9.15, if wikipedia (best source ever, I know) is to be trusted (it isn’t but idc)

plus it makes sense, 9.15 is a 80s project, 9.31 is a 80s project…

It’s the 9.15 yes

Tysm

Also guys the MiG-35 is also a 9-41something right? Does that imply the MiG-29K/Kr and MiG-35 are related?

They are built of the same base airframe yes

Cool, also according to wikipedia (again lol) there’s a naval variant of MiG-35 being developed, do you know anything on that?

No not heard anything about that

9.61 is just export variant of mig-35

Idk, I just know MiG-35S is 9-41SR. The others variants do have a different designation though

Rip then

TLDR:

9.41SR 9.47SR domestic Russian MiG-35

9.61 9.67 MiG-35 export

9.15D tech demonstrator MiG-35 (Built from one of the 9.15 prototype airframes)

Partially.
9.15 and 9.31 were developed alongside each other with huge unification in mind, not evolved from one another.
9.41 was a revival of 9.31 program and was technically based on it, but underwent serious changes.

Airframe is almost 1 to 1. Folding mechanism was removed, tail section recieved proper drag Shute compartment and some new sensors (namely MAW) were installed

Recently out of nowhere I got that but I had a 14 hours cooldown lol

MiG-35S will probably be the only Russian jet with actual HMD until we get Su-57 (and even if gaijin decides to give Su-57 a prototype helmet that is still under testing)
