probably due to age of the brochures judging by the pictures since its still using the 9.31 MiG-29K and 9.15 MiG-29M2 in the pictures
Yes, but it is still not RD-33K that is found on 9.15 and 9.31, this is what i find interesting
MiG-29M/M2 brochure does feature Kh-29L, both in text and as a picture
So, 13SM-1 was shown on different expos since 2007, alongside IRST for Su-27/35 called OLS (thank you, UOMZ, very cool. Naming your specific IRST module with a name that describes entire class of such modules is a gigachad move).
But it seems that MiG-35 in service features OLS-UEM, an upgraded version of OLS-UE.
man iam still searching for info on the OLS-30
Malaysia maybe? MKM is the closest thing to the SM avionics wise.
couldnt find much about it besides a brochure that says nothing about its performance at all
does the Su-30SM and Su-30MK models use different OLS?
yup, SM uses 36SH-01 aka OLS-30, MK uses OEPS-30I
Sadly i could only find description of 36SH-01, not exact specs. But looking at that, it is indeed incapable of lasser designation, only rangefinding.
At least that’s the most logical conclusion. I haven’t seen any documents that specifically mention what optical station is installed on Su-30SM, but 36SH-01 is installed on MKI and MKM, so it is most likely also used on SM. But it is a module, so it can technically be replaced by any other compatible station in theory.
For that Gaijin has to admit that there is a problem with 29Ms countermeasures in the first place. Bug report was labeled as a “suggestion” lmao. Next time they will make Su-35S without MAW and also forward it as a suggestion.
Thank you big man, that’s a lot of info.
quick test of 36SH-01 shows that it uderperforms in scan rate, i got 4.96 seconds for 60x10 and 1.21 seconds for 20x5
Where are you find this info? Su-27SM, Su-30MK2 use 31E-MK
On one of the 3rd party websites with equipment

here is also an interesting picture with description from an interview with Sergey Maksin (CEO of UOMZ) for “Взлёт” magazine from 2005
Also, does this mean that Su-27SM is currently missing laser guided munitions, as well as laser designator and a TV channel in its IRST?
yes
no
