Interesting thing about Tu-95 is that it seems that it uses chaff-loaded bullets from bottom turret as chaff countermeasures. Can we hope for this type of ammo for other USSR aircrafts in the future? Maybe even chaff loaded S-8 rockets?
My bad, it’s the universal countermeasures that you can select between chaff/flare are fired from rear gun turret. Wikipedia says that ammo from AM-23 can be used in GSh-23 as well, now i only have to find a source good enough for gaijin. Being able to load flares/chaff belt into GSh-23 might give some USSR aircrafts a good survivability buff

man the radar that is said to burn through any kind of jamming getting jammed

tbf, it was said about Smerch, not Sapphire 25, but still, it is quite sad, i couldn’t lock even at like 5 kilometers, constantly jumping to chaff or getting ECM jamming
