Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

i guess we can put an end to all this talk about 6 or 8 R-77s on second gen MiGs based official Rosoboronexport video about RVV-AE

I think this should come with R-74M already, but i am not sure

on the other hand, this speaks about reliability of oficial Rosoboronexport videos lmao

Sapsan seems to be dead, just like Khod

Yeah, this is pretty much dead technology

Wingtip R-37M trust me 100% real

better, dual rack R-37M between nacelles
I guess someone just forgot to change numbers from RVV-AE video, but put correct pictures

Looks like there’s another outer pylon for IR missiles as well as the 6 for Fox-3s on the MiG

Is it known whether any improvements have been introduced since then?

MiG-35 and MiG-29K share the airframe, both have 4 pylons per wing console. Or you are talking about something else?

I think R-73 has basic motor, R-74M more upgraded and R-74M2 even more, see launch ranges

DL is only on the 74M2

well, 74M2 will be the Russian missile, and RVV-MD2 will get DL because gaijin logic (tho outside of Algeria no one will probably get RVV-MD2 in this game

This increase might be due to smaller fins and better aerodynamics as well. But without good source your claim is as good as mine

Ka-52 with R-74 would be incredibly funny.

Actually one of the prototypes was shown with R-73s( and KH-25ML)… pls gaijin i need it🙏

It’s obvious it’s a typo. They simply forgot to change the number of missiles for the Su-35 and MiG-35.

As obvious as it is, one would expet better from such a big company, wouldn’t you agree?

This often happens with advertising materials.
