Pretty much.
R-74M is the next gen IR missile for Russia, so it would be like the 9X.
Also goes by the export name RVV-MD
The Rosboronexport site is still throwing errors for me, but I can give you this video they made about it.
There’s also the R-74M2, which is slightly improved and for Su-57, It’s called RVV-MD2 on Export markets.

Swifts program is mostly formation flight and manoeuvres, so I don’t think that OVT will make any difference for them. But MiG-35 would be hella cool and might give it a bit of advertisement
sadly its much worse irl, but we already have same situation with aim9m and r73, r73 is better irl, but not in game

nope, it has IOG and DL on top of dual band seeker of R-74M
And improved motor afaik
