@Balta779517-live can you post this brochure in your ‘Thales’ thread so we could get a ‘confirmation’ that Soviet Union did wasn’t buying Thales HMD for 9.31 and then we could link up your report with the Ron’s
they dont want the 29K to have the r27
wouldnt help at all
Dw you just have to perform some ritual sacrifices and it will be alright. monkey paw curls
yeah they gonna remove the base r77 bc its not listed in some brochures
and all we gonna have left is the r73
well i bet UB will come someday as event one at 12(3).7
Sees blue 941 clearly written
Yeah thats a 9.31
i asked if this had been factored in their reasoning

from migs website on the k/kub
we believe this is a marketing lie
Don’t believe your lying eyes
Correct me if I am wrong but the 9.41 and 9.47 variants all have largely the same avionics across the board with some minor differences here and there (K and KUB not having MAW or LWS for example.
If so I have to wonder why its suddenly now a problem that gaijin needs evidence that a specific subvariant within the 9.41/47 family had “x” yet the Eurofighters all get largely the same equipment in game when that certainly isnt the case irl…
and there is even a source for that
MiG themslefs

so i was doing some reading about this whole french HMD debacle, from what i have gathered is: yes they did sign and agree a deal with Thales to supply them initially at the Farnborough 2012 airshow. But they would either not be delivered or delivered in small numbers, so that they would most likely not be fully adapted. most likely due to sanctions in that popped up in 2014.
As for the one photo of the KUBR using it the photo was taken sometime in 2014 (looks like the start of the year judging by the trees), at the airfield where Lukhovitsy MiG plant is located. So it could very well be the only Russian model that used it.
So Russia had whole ONE set of Thales HMD most likely and then used it on MiG-29M2 prototype as well.
it seems to kinda be like that, MiG corp probably had access to some sets for themself judging by the SIAF 2012 video of the M2. And by the time Russian navy was to take delivery of their own sets that they agreed to buy back in 2012, sanctions prevented it from happening sometime in 2014
And 24 odd airframes with barely any combat time aren’t such a crucial asset to spend money on installing domestic НСЦИ-КОС on them
might close the current report and re do it again with a new one. with using technical compatibility and it having tested it once similar to what was done with the rafale tbh
That one hangar in Karelia with 24 brand spanking new airframes resting without hmds 🥀
(For snail reasons this is a joke, dont take away its hmd)
