are there any sources regarding wing size/span differences of 29m? currently they are identical in game which leads to this being much more underwhelming than it likely should. granted, with the wing size increase it’ll still be a 29 fm but at least it’d be the best 29 fm
found another shit in mig29fm
even using shit PA book with fake data
mig loosing 0.1 of pressure recover
now when air intake switch to axial intake thrust increase is only like 60kgf per engine😁😁😁
this mean mig loosing like 1800kgf OF TOTAL THRUST LOL
0.85 vs 0.95-0.96 after takeoff

but thats not all
ATM at takeoff it has like 6800kgf per enginge when 0.85*8300= 7055kgf
also 450kgf missing
Spoiler
now it seems to me that this is a joke and they took jokes like “fighter for the defense of their own airfield” too literally
because in the current configuration, the mig has a real FM only on the airfield lol
9.15 has identical wing size to the older MiG-29 airframes. 9.31 and fruther have bigger wing area.
thanks

Here’s the table form Yefim Gordon book about MiG-29. Second row is a wing span, third is a wing area. But this doesn’t include data on modern 9.41 airframe and its derivatives. MiG-29K here is 9.31 airframe
But why… should have stolen ‘aplique’ cms from 9.19

They gave anti-lag to my homie 29M
I… actually don’t know. One explanation could be that applique launchers on 9.19 appeared later than production of 9.41R but i dunno the exact timing
9-19R which introduced the UV-05s is from 2014 if I remember correctly, VMF probably just didn’t bother changing the specifications when configuring their 9-41R/47Rs from the base 9-41 that always had the BVP-16-50s
RD-33 is famous for its quick spool time, as well as pretty much no limitations on how aggressively you gonna yank the throttle. Short service life and fuel guzzling addiction is a price for that
If they are from 2014 then no wonder. Kuznetsov was docked “for repairs” in 2015 iirc, so upgrading Ks would be quite a low priority at the time
I just hope that some technical brochure about UV-05 that says that they are “compatible with every MiG-29 airframe”
Realistically
Realistically i think they are, but practically this would be ‘sekret documents’ kinda stuff… (Also semi reliable sources say that Mig29K was developed in Parallel with Mig29M so they were made with the same 'CM" setup 120CM, idk what to make from that) Maybe E.Gordon mentions it somewhere for ppl to use as a new aircraft suggestion (120 + 32 + 8?? hardpoints kinda good)
Stabilizers have more area right ? Since they’re completely different
And how does that affect performance?
Basically it accelerates earlier
MiG-35 wingspan is listed as 12 meters from UACs website

It is the 9.31 airframe, first version of naval MiG-29. Didn’t go fruther than 2 airframes, but 9.41 (current Indian and Russian naval Fulcrum) was developed from 9.31.
Yes, they have around 15% area increase or something like that, maybe more
Should accelerate and decelerate faster. IRL RD-33 just gives pilot a lot of freedom when it comes to throttle controls, without accidentally doing oopsies like compressor stalls and shit
Reasonable, if 9.31 is listed with 11.9 by Gordon. Probably slightly bigger wingtips

E.Gordon - Mig29 pg 227 (Amount of CM were doubled on Mig29M/K up to 120, CM blocks were moved into the plane body)
So… Mig29k makes perfect sense for Yak-141 line? Cockpit is 1:1~ to the Mig29M you just copy & paste and you r golden
Did they fr just 'delete all CM blocks" and put ‘aplique’ cm under engines for total of 32cm ?
