It’s something they’ve been doing since introducing the MiG-21SPS-K. They blindly assume some features are universal across all models and leave them the way they are. They don’t care about pinpoint accuracy anymore, which is why the export MiG-29s even have the ERs and ETs though they’re not supposed to. The MiG-21MF’s RP-21M radar wasn’t compatible with the R-3R, yet here we still are.
If you try bug reporting, it’s likely they will treat those cases as suggestions rather than actual bugs. Their standards are inconsistent. That’s why I don’t bug report anything anymore, since they decide what’s accurate and what isn’t according to their personal preferences.

In the latest updated dev, the weight of the MiG-29M has been reduced, increasing its overall performance.
The turn performance graph shows both at 30% fuel
Nothing, since they reduced the maximum internal fuel, it looks like an improvement, but in reality it still has the same performance and now less fuel. It seems like a significant change, but it isn’t.
It was probably a fix of an invisible drop tank that always gives you more fuel even if you don’t have a loadout with a drop tank

They did had quite Napoleonic plas to upgrade MiG-29M, including bigger fuel tanks, bigger fuel tanks, bigger fuel tanks, refueling probe, canards, stronger engines and bigger fuel tanks
