Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

surely they have to move it down to 13.3 now right…

right?

Would YOU trust a five-year old to give you advice with that?

Yes or no.

One word answer

ofc no lmao

It’s better to say that BVVD on General Dynamics payroll, because F-16 never lost its UFO performance after the initial buffs

If there is literally no one else - yes. And there is literally no one else in WT lobbies. Mythical “skilled” players are one in a bunch. Moreover - if you are asking someone, this means that you have little to no experience yourself and also don’t know what you are doing. So who is better to ask than your fellow monkeys?

Someone who isn’t a monkey.

So after Sukhoi paid him, he finally gave a buff to the Flankers. Dassault paid him very well too. Let’s wait for some F16 pilot to steal his Thai ladboy, and he’ll nerf the F16s.

MiG fans getting shafted ed.5

The issue with that in the case of WT players, is that those people do exist.

and get yourself a frustrating experience because you got something with much higher skill floor than your skill level. 10/10 advice

Like always MiG23 is too op move to 12.7

So you’re saying you’d rather be terribly misinformed than get good advice from an expert?

Simple yes or no answer

I am saying that so called “experts” are often completely forget that their skill level is completely different from the person that asks them.
Would you advice a brand new player that knows barebones of top tier aircrafts at best an Su-27SM as a firt aircraft because its “the best”?

I will tell them that it’s the best 13.7 plane for X reasons, but lead them to play something that’s better to learn the basic game mechanics with first.

Once they have the basic game mechanics down and are showing signs of real improvement I will advise them to play something with a higher skill floor (like the 27SM for example) to work on improving more.

And this is why i said in the first place that Su-27SM is not “the best” aircraft. “The best” aircraft is the one that will be used by the largest percentage of playerbase effectively. If an aircraft is stronger, but can only be used to its fullest by 10-15% of the playerbase, no way in hell it is “the best” aircraft

It is the best plane though, objectively.

Player skill is completely irrelevant because we’re not comparing pilots in a plane v plane comparison.

?
No, you simply need to be a little more than above average to do well in it.

All you need is a basic understanding of missile and notching mechanics with decent positioning.
All things that are not hard to learn.
You do not need to do anything insane to do well in higher skill floor vehicles.

The skill floor is never that high

You’re making it sound like you need to be Einstein to do better in something just because it has a higher skill floor

nuclear engines still keep it above 27SM for now. I wonder when gaijin will make their thrust realistic.

27sm still rapes because engines don’t overheat and it rates better

Then why players struggle so much to learn them if they aren’t “that hard”?
