Bare minimum considering it has a moving intake
At high speed intakes move to limit the airflow into the engine, and pretty much every supersonic aircraft has a moving intake for this purpose.
i know, but F-16 has a fixed intake so it is not surprising at all the F-15 produces more thrust at high speed
Well, it’s probably due the more efficient design of the intake (even at the cost of an RCS the size of a bomber) than just the fact that it had moving parts.
So how would a active-passive radio homing head work?

i am a bit disappointed with how they have chosen to basically held back it with its weapons load out and just getting the shittier versions of what it can use
This might function like a ARM. In case of the assault landing ship the missile is probably going to track the radar of those vessels. LPD and LHDs usually have radars. It should work similarly for other types of ships as well.
It depends on the logic of the missile, but I think that it would allow to either select a mode before launch or switch it mid flight (for example if a target disabled it’s radar and/or employed ECM) so you would still have a way for a missile to find its target besides just IOG and GNSS.
But imo this is the most useful when you hunt ships and aircrafts (that’s why RVV-SDM features dual mode seeker as well)
Perhaps we need to wait for the 6th generation, and then maybe well get a 1990 TVC to another nerfed MIG
me and my curiosity
So, 9.15 and 9.41
Almost identical mass
Almost identical thrust
You would think that performance will be somewhat close right, after all, difference in wing area doesn’t look that big
Don’t give them any ideas
They will just remove R-77s and put KR at 14.0
MiG-29 airframe really suffers at altitude
Well, i was comparing aircrafts with almost identical airframe apart from difference in wing area and drag
Pls gaijin I need this
Enough said tbh
