F-5C airframes were converted back to F-5A before 9E even hit the production

Technically speaking Taiwan F-5A model also uses Aim-9P’s so I believe those F-5’s could also use more advanced Sidewinders.

the F-5C is a very specific model
the US basically borrowed F-5A’s (from Taiwan i think) and then put the aireal refuling stuff onto it for testing
after that testing was done they were converted back to normal F-5A’s and were given back

Well, the tilt angle definitely applies to the H001 as well, since I sent a source above that directly indicates where on the panel the antenna tilt angle is adjusted. I’ll clarify regarding the azimuth in the TWS.
But in fact, I’m 95% sure that everything is the same, since the radars are very similar in functionality.

Well in that case Sidewinder compatibility hasn’t been removed so we can assume Us F-5C can use 9P without any issues.

No it can’t, unless you can go into the future to fetch 9P for the airframes before they vere converted back. Your claim would be more reasonable if you used US F-5A as an example, not F-5C
Just look at mig-29 or the apaches, this happens in game all the time

But aside from refueling capabilities there is no difference between A and C model which means there is nothing to stop it to recieve better missiles.

There is a simple fact of EVERY SINGLE F-5C being literally REVERTED BACK TO F-5A. There was no airframes EXISTING at that time. F-5A existed, it can get whatever the hell you want. F-5C cannot because this, very specific version of F-5 was gone from this world.
MLD with R-73s would be able to fill the gap at 12.0-12.3 that USSR has and become different from MiG-23ML. I wouldn’t mind MiG-23-98 but iirc it didn’t even had a working prototype, only mock-up

I get your point, I’m just saying if Gaijin wants to give Aim-9P’s to F5C they can use technical compatibility as an excuse to add those missiles and there is nothing we can do.
