The f16 sold more than double the airframes than the mig-29, attributing that to “politics” is cope. The F-16 was just the better aircraft for the majority of its lifespan.

Has anyone else noticed their r-77-1’s just tweaking out when they pass 20~ kilometers even with datalink on target? I really hope I’m not having a skill issue right now.

If not better, KR and 35 feature much higher percentage of composite materials used, which removes a lot of riveting.

It seems like Gaijin just gave the IRIS-T on some of the Fulcrums their ability to function as TV cameras like the Eurofighter PIRATE IRST. But it seems like the imager on the MiG-29M (9-15) doesn’t have thermals whereas the MiG-29KR and MiG-35 do (which I presume from reading about it, I don’t have these vehicles so I can’t test).
I am aware that the MiG-29KR/35 uses OLS-U IRST whereas the (9-15) uses OLS-M, but I’ve read that it has thermal imager capabilities.
Is this right or am I gonna have to make a bug report that gets closed for not enough info?
Majority of the buyers being from NATO or allied to NATO certainly has nothing to do with “politics”. You are coping by ignoring the fact that the only real alternative to F-16 was from “bad guys” on a political scene and that pretty much blocked any real chance of success for MiG-29.
MiG-29 is better than the F-16 because it looks cooler.

I should try the PoBIT again tbh. It’s one of my fav 14.3s (along with the Su-30SM). And the new 120D’s seem promising.

What did you expect? 80% of “skill issue” population that used F-15s now sits in USSR tech tree with their OP Su-30SM2s without having a single clue what they’re doing

Brother you could get at least two kills with SU30SM2 even if you’re vegetable…
