It would need some avionics integration, but not a major airframe redesign, that’s to broad. It would need changes to the avionics, cooling and electrical systems, but not major structural changes to the airframe. The Zhuk-AE was specifically designed as a retrofit for the MiG-29/MiG-35 family, and Phazotron itself stated that no airframe changes were required.
And yeah, the idea of making the AESA radar a researchable modification is stupid, but I only suggested it for those who want the MiG-35S to be 100% historically accurate, which is basically impossible in WT anyway

There’s no way to prove it, because the only 2 airframes in existence that have Zhuk-AE are 741 and 747. 154 is most likely scrapped
and both 741 and 747 have same nose design
The most realistic way to make MiG-35 100% historically accurate and with AESA is to make it a MiG-29M 9.41S tech demonstrator. But that would require changes to the 3D model (removal of refueling probe) and complete redesign of the cockpit

Nope, MiG-29M2, you can see MAW sensors on it. Both 741 and 747 were the original prototypes for export MiG-29M program, for Syria if i’m not mistaken. Now they are owned by MiG and used as MiG-35 technology demonstrators. You can see the same 747 in Lords of the Sky documentary, or on airshows
