mti is for use when chaff or meteorlogical conditions
I repeat without these conditions target will not be detected which is why devs do not model it as mti

see Mirage F1C for example that dosent have a cucked radar with automatic mode switching
the Automatic mode switching should switch to mti when the target is using chaff, just like some planes try to switch to the IRST when losing radar lock
idk how mirage f1c works (IRL), but this is how it should actually work for saphir 25. it should not use mti except for when theres chaff around 1000-3000m (radio contrast clouds don’t exist in game)
