you guys reckon it will sell well? considering its iconic status

im personally waiting for 31 to come, the 25 is not that interesting for me

The worst part about USSR ground, especially top tier, is making enough space for everything.

Probably. It’ll probably sit somewhere around the price of the MiG-23MF since it’s a cool plane, but isn’t super OP like the Obj. 292 or F-14 IRAF.

Lmao.

Also idk if it’s my lang mod but is the Foxbat supposed to have small caliber CMs? I thought the Soviets mostly used Large Caliber.

++ Literally was about to say the same… Plane is cool’ish but to play good you have to be ratty, and i personally find it boring. but i will be keeping it for the occasional 1-2 battle after spam ends. IRAIF are somewhat consistent and grind, but this requires “constantly” using same ratty tactics… and so it is boring + not op, the only thing keeping the price is rarity of its platform, till they add somthing more functional like mig31(**)

Judging by the model in game it uses same CM from mig21 sps pods

I thought the PD had pulse-Doppler radar. The plane is cool, the R40s are okay, but it lacks radar. It doesn’t lock onto anything even slightly low, and when I tried flying low after using the R40s, I became a punching bag.

He died to SPAA lmao after follow me all match at mach 2

mti only, not really for ground clutter but for chaff and radio contrast clouds.

Reminds me that one time some russian messaged me to insult the shii out of me, and after like 10 minutes of absolute rage he left without me having any idea what I did to him. Such a lovely playerbase

I think based on historic context as Mig25PD had Saphir25 derived from Mig23 Saphir23 and PD was made in 1977* and Saphir23MLA was introduced the same year for Mig23ML/MLA then you could speculate that Mig25PD should get at least get all the modes of Mig23ML radar + extended range due to being bigger

→ This would that you could argue that it could have ACM mode (?) no clue about sekret dokuments or any of that

It absolutely does not have ACM mode

it should have look down modes tho

no

first in service PD radar on a russian jet was the N019 to my knowledge

yes but the main function was not for ground clutter rejection but for chaff and meteorological conditions. Was re reading russian mig-23 manuals, and ground clutter is never mentioned for BS modes

Well what ELSE could PD possibly stand for.
