I mean they seem to have a far better combat seem than the other gen 3 soviet fighters and maybe than the mig 29, but it is hard to know for sure as there is still a lot of claims on both side on the irak-iran war

They rip at Mach 3. They ripped because of ias limit.
Also same thing happens to all planes, like for exampl su27 is limited to mach 2.35 because of engines not wings, but in game the wings rip to simulate the engine limit

Also shoud not be it 60 flares? It use KDS-155 modules same as MiG-23MLD which each have 30.
The mach indicator turned red above mach 2.85, it’s the mach limit that ripped the wings. It’s the same implementation problem of the F106 that is limited to mach 2.0 and rips at mach 2.12, despite it’s official speed record being a mach 2.31 average (accelerating from mach 2.2 to mach 2.4). Like @EstrogenKitten said, the reasonable thing would be the engines turning yellow above mach 2.8 and red above mach 3.2, and a wing rip speed of mach 3.7 or so.
Probably not a big issue in gameplay since players would rather stay higher than optimum for max speed to maximize range for the missiles. But if it’s battle rating 10.3, this is going to be practically untouchable unless baited into a missile jousting duel.

Dude you can check the stat card, ias is 1210 km per hour and Mach limit is 3 lol. It ripped cause ias limit, the guy just doesn’t have ias shown and only tas
