That’s not true tho, the RGS-24 that the R-40RD gets, is the same as the R-24R, which can do up to 8 or 9Gs, and the R-40RD has the same seeker

friendly reminder the 4G figure is from the official mig25pd manual
an AIM-7C isn’t going to magically pull 35G if i put an R-27 seeker in it

There was some changes in tail part of hull behind wings. On R-40RD/TD was tail part of hull much shorter than on R-40R/T but no idea how much it changed agility if at all.

Mti has restrictions though? I was the one that made the bug report for the mti filters, with sources from estrogen kitten. The argument was that the restrictions are represented wrong in game, not that it doesn’t have restrictions

• Incorrect life time: It is 75s seconds when it should do 40s max
• Drag is TOO low: The Delta V of the R40RD is 720m/s at deck and 780 m/s up in space.
  It should be +540 m/s (I assume on deck where drag is highest) to 740 m/s(where drag is negligible)

• Incorrect max Gload WHILE launching: It should be 3Gs
• Incorrect Explosive Mass: It is 25 kg when it should be much higher, 38kg***********
• Incorrect missile G overload: It is 20Gs when it should be 15Gs
• same for R40TD: Incorrect Gimbal limits during launch: it it 70°, it should be 45°

For the the explosive mass on both, it may be 25kg. The Warhead is 38kg

Radar

• Incorrect CW transmitter: The current one is a 10° cone when it should be a 20° “cone”(bc its actually a horn). This 2x angle coverage means a 4x total illuminated area coverage.
• It should also be be fixed to the front, not be able to illuminate the sides…

Plane

• STR too high
• Max Gload too high too
