Target designation isnt guiding a missile, probably refers to Lazur. (Datalinking target speed, location etc)

MiG-23 for example cannot have its missiles guided by someone else and I also very much have my doubts about MiG-29 and Su-27 with R-27.

what is the source document of this?

  • “Die Gefechtseigenschaften des Jagdflugzeuges MiG-29”

and

  • “Visiersysteme der Jagdflugzeuge MiG-23 ML und MiG-29”

Could you give me page number or original text in german

cant give you the page number right now because iam not home, but here is the original text

The top text is saying that the radar can switch between scanning and CW illumination very quickly, so that other target information is retained. (Even while firing with R-27),

the bottom one is saying that you can fire before the seekerhead of the R-27 has the target locked, pretty sure its just referring to IOG.

None of this says that it can guide two R-27s at once

i never said that it can i explicitly said that it cant

only that it was planned at some point but scratched bc the radar didnt had enough ram for that

Good or bad move?

do you know the reason.

@Morvran knows best

For sim BR 11.0 as well. I think 11.0 is ok. 10.7 was too low for what it is.

i constructed what the Mig-25 loading screen will roughly look like, from the datamine
