Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 'FLOGGER' - History, Design, Performance & Dissection

Then how is your comment relevant pelase tell me?

If BS mode functions like BSW-SZ but in wider modes of operation it can fire R-24, because that is what Kizvy document says lmao

And R-23 is also CW I am like 100% sure

RP-23Ä is MiG-23MF radar, and this is talking about R-23R so go figure

sea harrier fa2 and F-5 with 2 derby:

Oh and it doesn’t really?

Because this sure as shit reads like its talking about both R-23 and R-24 but might just be me going crazy who knows (also again mentions the CW illuminator used for both R-23 and R-24 but okay)

I am so tired of how again and again I have to point out these things that can be very easily and quickly found in the documents themselves. It is tiring and with such sureness that you spread how wrong you are

Just shows how much you care about actual knowledge rather than glazing US aircraft lmao. Like do you actually think you look good coming into the MiG-23 flogger post and doing nothing but bashing the plane and when proven wrong posting clips of it losing?

dude i didn’t do that

hmm so its manually done and not done automaically

The BS mode is manually selected just like the other modes? How is this not what I said lmao

nah i meant it so that you would have to toggle it on or off instead of it applying automatically like it does in game

It should be just like switching any other radar mode ingame

but it doesn’t say bs filter is used in mb or cmb modes

Which it doesnt need to, as it is its own mode

but below 1.5 km it is automatically cmb and mb mode when using r-24 missile

Brother I’m just playing around. Not that serious.

Nope. Not true again.

what? am i misreading this?

Yes the R-24 manual is lacking. BS mode was specifically made for these challenging conditions

It is not listed separately because manual treat it as similar enough. And yes it too does work in lookup

Hj < Hz, we have gone over this. No need for me to explain again
