Problem is, the full source is like nowhere to be found, so unless we find that MiG-23ML/A/D manual with all the radar documentation and stuff like that, then good luck
The only way to get it is, by buying it off Meshok in St. Petersburg for like €300 lol
Lmao. Gaijin should buy that. For them is 300 euro nothing mainly when they can get more money for MiG-23ML.
I have made a bug report in regards to the TP-23/TP-23M (IRST) of the MiG-23s not being able to provide ranging information. If anyone would be interested in helping this get noticed that would be nice ^^

This one would also be nice to get acknowledged
I don’t know if that’s a bug, but all MiG-23s lost CCIP And CCRP capabilities. As far as I know, in terms of bombing the MiG-23 was as accurate as the MiG-27, a dedicated Striker. Does anyone know why was CCIP removed?
On the dev or live server?
Many of you probably know that the MiG-23MLD right now is missing its RWR painted sections. I have made a livery that fixes these issues and reverts the MiG-23MLD back to its former glory.
Live
I have expanded my bug report with some more info on the IRST, lets hope they take a look at it soon! :)
These should make the IRST more usable, and a decent alternative to the radar
But the enemy RWR will detect your emission in that case.
IRL yes but in game I do not think so.
The MiG-23s IRST modes ingame already function like they are in T-1/T-2/T-3 mode allowing you to switch between radar and IRST lock seemlessly. Either Gaijin removes that function (as it would only be possible with the radar giving range updates) or they just add IRST range information without giving RWR ping (as it is not implemented like that for any other IRST)
Wait wdym IRST Range tracking is not implemented? Or do you just mean IRST of the same era/generation?
The MiG-23 IRST currently does not provide range information under a lock.
is it possible to get MLD in germany?
