I know, very original of me. However, I think it is the best time to add it, as it would add a top tier for the Mig line, dependent on which variant gets added. The older variants would have R-33, R-60 (I think mk), R-37 and the R-40s. The newer variants, such as the MiG-31BM, get R-73’s and R-77 (unsure if they’re the dash 1’s), it would fit in at top tier, as its rival, the F-15, is already in the game. I think maybe a tech tree MiG-25 should be added first, just to help with speed issues, and to work on the R-40’s. It’s a favourite plane of mine, and would love to see it in game

It gets R-77M which is not added to the game yet.
Let’s add it as a premium for $80 with the same missiles and a slightly better radar! Sounds Legit to me…
Have they ever been shown on the MiG? I’ve only seen them on the su35 so far.

Upon further research, I found out that MiG-31BM can indeed carry R-77-1 (picture attached below)
But I could only find text material mentioning that it can carry R-77M like this one:

R-77-1 on a fast platform like the MiG would definitely be interesting already, maybe one day the dual pulse R77 too.
Yeah, but the only real problem for BR is the R-37 and R-33, as they are insanely fast long-range missiles. I think they could add the MiG-25 PDS (Worse-ish versions of the PD, as they were the P but upgraded to the PD avionics) and have the MiG-31A foldered, with the MiG-31BM or MiG-31k at top tier. I think if they add it, they’ll just put the Kinzhal on the BM, as the K is just the BM without pylons and with a reinforced hull.
MiG-31 has been eligible for adding since 4 years (F-14 added)
The mig 23 MLA or whichever one it is could also just become a12.0 aircraft.
The MLD is a very good 11.7 aircraft. But with the FM and Radar nerfs it shouldn’t move up to 12.0.
It can move up if it gets its historical R-73s tho. And it still has wrong radar scan pattern for some odd reason.

To my knowledge it has pretty similar flight performance to the f4s( a fantastic 12.0 aircraft) and while getting a better missile load out to boot.
Nah, only 2 radar missiles (they are one of the best radar missiles at the br bracket, but 2 is 2) while F-4S can get 6 pretty good ones. It can fight up close obviously, and pretty effective even after the nerfs, but i can’t say it is as effective as F-4J or F-4S
The 11.7 br and below gets absolutely slapped by the Mig-23 and it is just as capable as the phantom is, two of the best radar missiles at that br are often times better than those six sparrows, which are just god awful, especially with all of the annoyance in the sparrows bad targeting.
For me, need gaijin introduce initial variant before later variants
