At 12.3 the F-16 is unmatched yes, but since we’re talking about MiG-29s, I assumed you meant in top tier overall.
In a partial to full uptier it will face the F-15A, Gripen A, Jeff, F-2 premium, and the Su-27.
In an actual match, with good pilots on both, after surviving the merge, the F-16 will probably lose almost every time against any of those unless they don’t have any missiles to force the F-16 to start the merge while defending itself from a missile.
In a gun only duel, the gripen, jeff and su-27 will either be hard opponents or straight up outclass the F-16 block10.
The F-2 will just sealclub the rest in a gun duel, including eurofighters

Overall, I agree that Block 10 is not the undisputed champion anymore, but it still can probably nuke most middle-ground pilots
US Main moment, to be honest.
Giving that I am playing almost nothing but US for the past 2 months, that did sting a little

there is a difference between an US Main and an US Player.
One of them understands that the 9M is an exceptional missile and very easy to get kills with.
The other stomps their feet and cries on the forums, demanding 9X to keep up with R-73.
The F-18 isn’t a danger for the F-16, but it will be for a mig29 and F-14A/B. Once in a while, the F-18 might be lucky while trying to pull excessive AoA and sniping you while you try to force a ratefight with the F-16

I’ve missed on F-15A constant downtiers during sale because I am spading F-14B so I want something broken op to have a bit of a compensation

13.3 and above is a bit rough, other than that it’s actually a decently capable jet. Not super meta, but gives me 2-3 kills without much effort just because people keep eating Penixes.
I even had 2 great dogfights agains F-16s (won against F-16A bay using a superior tactics of only having a 1.5 minutes of fuel left, got 3rd partied by another F-16 in the other dogfight)

One of the things that makes the MiG-29 FM lackluster is that it has noticeably bad unsustained energy retention, as most already know.
Yesterday I got killed by a stealthy phoenix, I was flying the F-16I or the F-16C Barak, can’t remember exactly, also I was rolling around to hunt for signals in the RWR deadzone and got hit by a phoenix with no RWR warning in the beggining of the match.
Haven’t died to one in a very long time, every once in a while a fakour gets me because they go active at very short range and close very fast, I sometimes misjudge the distance the missile is from me.
Ohh, this happened after I dropped 2 2000lbs glide bombs, so it was on the F-16C. I wonder if the phoenix locked into one of the bombs but somehow followed me instead without giving any warning. It shouln’t happen like that but I have no other justification
Fakours are a menace if you didn’t spot the launch in time, true. But the fact that people still eat phoenixes is kinda hilarious. And not just wallet warriors, I have plenty of TT stuff from 13.0-13.7. Kinda want to bag a 14.0 jet with one, but they are endangered species at this point
The thing with the phoenixes, is that not only are they bad, but whoever would die to one will eat a fakour much sooner from your teammate.
Haven’t touched F-14s for a long time, 12.7 is now constant uptiers and the F-14A is subpar in the current 12.7 environment. Rear aspect IR missiles, high prf radar that is easy to notch, atrocious RWR for the BR. No thank you.

Eh, F-14B Is not that bad, at least in my experience. I have around 2 K\D with it and I just finished with performance modules. For me, being a very average player, it’s a good result, especially considering that I do almost nothing, just climb, pick targets and send 4 phoenixes down the road
I have 3 kdr with it when I was facing mostly just su-27s, f-15s etc. It was doable. Now against fox3 with constant uptiers to 13.3 and 13.7 is not fun.
Lately I’ve been skipping all my 12.7-13.0 jets. I either play below or above that BR.
I’ve been grinding the SMT while unlocking the su-34 AESA boat that I will probably stock grind next. I hop around the israeli F-16s, J-10, J-11A and B, F-2A.
Sometimes I pick up a 14.7 jet like the SM2 or the rafale and go ham but I find the lower fox3 BRs more fun
