the mig 29 sniper should not be a 12.7 plane.
12.7 is a br that often gets uptiered in 13.0 or 13.7 and this plane just cant compete,you have 2 fox1 and 4 heat searching missle against plane that can carry 4+ fox3s and more,its just unplayable and with just 60 countermeasure is even more painful.
gaijin should make it carry at least more fox 1 or move it to 12.0 or 12.3 MAX please,its a 80 € plane it should be at least decent.

It’s a guaranteed 2 kills a game plane if you play it right.
R-60M are basically useless, only use this against people not aware of you. If they pop 1 flare it’s gone.
12.7 is right where it should be. Not too high to be thrown into top tier uptiers, not to low to basically swat the lesser experienced player base in 11.0-ish premiums.

That MiG-29 never carried more than two
60 countermeasures is fine at 12.7, you have a digital RWR too, which no other MiG-29 at 12.7 has>
That’s a problem for all 12.7 planes, they all struggle in uptiers like that.
It’s an ok 12.7 plane, if it goes lower it would be broken

MiG-29 was an amazing aircraft before it got given R-73s and moved to 13.0, the Sniper was a direct upgrade to it. Its a bit low if anything
it makes it so much easier to use tbh
it basically trades what the F/A-18C Early can’t: actually good/OP Fox-1s.
R-27ER is the best SARH missile in the entire game, if u struggle to get kills with it then i must say u have a skill issue, cuz i have used them all my life and they’re a goddamn secured kill any time u use them.
R-60Ms suck, so use them against people not aware of u, i would recommend u to dive over enemies flying low and lock them with IRST so u have a lock their RWR can’t detect and then launch them around 3/2km. in normal situations u should launch them between 1/2km cuz it has absolutely no range.
if u played MiG-23MLD (which i’m sure u didn’t) u would know how and when to use the R-60Ms.
hell naw how can i tell u one of my femboy friends asked me to duel him in the Su-30SM vs. his MiG-21bis and he lost ALL duels…
i don’t wanna know how would it be to face a MiG-29 in a 11.0 jet.
