Hasn’t stopped Gaijin from putting the MiG-29G at 13.0, BRs aren’t always fair.
Still, without R-27ER/ET (only R/T) and R-73 maybe they could be 12.7?

Trying to get the MiG-29N fixed has shown me the pain that all other MiG-29s have went through this whole time. Especially now that they added the R-77 (that is very likely incompatible since it might have never upgraded from N019E radar)

I believe the balance issue Gaijin saying can be an outdated information as statistics never shows you current exact situation. Imo after the addition of multiple 12.7-13.3 premiums both 12.7 and 13.0 jets are sucked into mostly same battles.

As mentioned earlier, every MiG-29 from early to late variants is able to carry and operate R-73 air-to-air missile, but weapons are part of balancing reasons, either absent to justify lower battle rating to fill a role or gap or present to justify a higher battle rating in-game and in a game mode, hopefully Gaijin put this aside at some point soon and model every vehicle with its weaponry accurately.
no need to be balance let them all be at 13.0 with 6 r73 or 4 r27 and r27s f18c early can get 6 aim 7 p and 2 aim9L but we only can stuck with r60m !!! this is not balance…

4 r73 will not change too much but with new radar and r77 it can be good at 13.3 also with already good rwr mig 29 sniper would be too good if they can do that now it has not much difference then f-104s taf as ground oriented missions and also for air to air against f18c early too bad 6 aim 7p +1 aim9l against 2 r27 er1 and 4 r60mk too bad performance and un balanced.
This mig’s gets much better RWR at the same BR as other Mig’s or higher (Mig 29 N \ G \ 9.12(A) ), the only other Mig with usable RWR is SMT, why don’t ppl bring this up?
Yeah the RWR is nice but it’s useless at this br at the moment mediocre radar compared to the others constantly facing f15 Su 30 mk2 /mk2 with only 60 countermeasures if you are taking flare and chaff that’s 30 each with only r60m and r27 this plane can’t perform well

It was planned to receive western weapons, but did not get them because tldr Mikoyan was mad that they did upgrades without their permission. It has the same computer as the LanceR fitted which might be able to use them, but would still need the rails.
So no. Tried for it to get them, but it appears more is needed.
It’s why the only western thing it has as weaponry are the bombs, because those don’t need special rails or additional things
