I think it’s time for the Indian Bison to receive it’s legendary R-77s, with the upcoming “Fire Birds” update Gaijin plans to introduce the Viggen Di which will be the first premium with ARH missiles.
Seems a bit ridiculous the Bison won’t be getting the same treatment - it would be capable of carrying up to 4 on all wing pylons.
A realistic BR would probably be either 12.7 or 13.0 (Air RB) since the Bison isn’t really known for carrying much missiles in general, would be nice to see however.
Its already Britains weakest Rank 8 fighter. Sticking it at 13.0 really isnt going to help it much. But whatever, hoping it gets removed from sale sooner rather than later and replaced with something actually good
There’s also the SAAF F1CZ and F1AZ, the AZ in particular is quite nice because it didn’t use Darters except very briefly so it more reasonably gets more balanced Magic Is and Python 3s.
I’d take the Cheetah over the Tornado any time of the week, I genuinely hate how they feel in-game but the Tornados do look awsome however - you’re probably right however.
The F.3 is only good in-game because it sits at 12.0, anything higher would be a hard nah for me.
The only problem with the Torando F3 is the CMs. BOL are insanely weak compared to IRL and we are misisng Phimat pods. Fixing that and the F3 dominates
It is. But its as good as we can get with the Sphagetti code, it should have greater instanteous turn but slightly worse sustained. Also its got too much drag limiting top speed slightly and missing combat thrust for an extra boost in engine power.
Also missing PHC (Pilot Hand control) for limited HMS and the overall issues with the radar control without a RIO (or appropriate modeling for something akin to that at least)
But the updated FM, especially with combat flaps that can deploy at anytime, its lovely
I’d prefer it to stay where it is currently, I enjoyed playing both it and the J8F at a lower br without arhs and I’d rather not have another plane I previously found enjoyable be shunted to obscurity for a few better missiles
Would rather not be on the receiving end of top tier spamraam in a 21bis airframe with current short-range r77’s that struggle to outreach the r27r if the target isn’t flying directly at it and a rather limited cm supply+a fm that is not suited for sustained defensive flying
if gaijin ever implemented variable loadout br’s id support it however
Wouldnt there be a possible legal issue regarding dramatically changing the vehicle after people have bought it though? I mean sure people sign T and Cs etc, but there are certain basic things in a lot of countries (especially the EU) which you cant sign away with regards to changes to products you bought being changed by a large amount after the fact unless it is deemed minor, or a necessity (which fox 3 wouldnt be).
Adding R77s would mean a chunky BR increase and a completely different gameplay dynamic. While I personally would enjoy a UK premium fox 3 thrower being added, I dont think it would be completely fair to those who already bought the mig 21 being forced into that if they didnt want to do it.
Likely better off adding a different vehicle with fox 3 capability, perhaps SHAR 51, Hawk 200 series, a Tejas model even (given the number of Hawks and Tejas models gaijin could do 1 premium 1 TT like they did the viggen).
