At top tier I think their AA is the backbone of their win rate.
The Pantsir reaches out ~4k farther than the other Roland like systems, has multi target tracking too. I’ve been sniped at the back helipad by pantsirs at distances my ADATS or CLAWS wouldn’t even reach or see in my Apache.
With the BUK it keeps other teams from getting close.
That lets their CAS play closer without worrying as much about opposing air.
Raises skill cap requirement for air on opposing team. Noobs in jets get filtered quick. Meanwhile fast A2G missiles destroy targets faster. Other factions can accomplish this but they don’t always have all the pieces at once.

Dude, are you for real? Yea brimstones are good if you’re playing them right, but god damn. It’s a laser weapon, laser, which means you can’t do more than 1-2 targets in 1 pass. Getting killed via GNSS means you’ve been standing still. Brimstones are much harder to use if there’s at least 1 SPAA present on the field. I mean laser weaponry is the most balanced out of all CAS variants, it literally gives you a “U’RE BOUTTA DIE” warning before hitting or not hitting you. AFAIK a lot of ru tanks have LWS onboard, unlike, for example, german ones. I really hate to use the “skill issue” thing, but I really don’t get it. I would understand if you were complaining that it’s really hard to kill a CAS plane that uses GNSS and Laser weaponry, because it’s true.
But you know what? You’re about to find out how it really feels to get all your team slimed with CAS next patch.

Brimstones sometimes didn’t even do significant damage, he had to stay exposed for longer and make sure their targeting pod is able to see the enemy.

That dude is a pathological liar, saying crap like “I see more Brimstone killstreaks than Kh-38s” is so asinine and blatantly false to anyone who has ever played this game, or understands what it is like to play the EF. Using Brimstones is a pain in the ASS. The Eurofighter’s CAS potential is barely 12.0, laser guided anything in the presence of AIM-9X and SAMP-T is suicidal. You don’t have the standoff range with the Eurofighter.
Oh, and SPICE 250 coming to the EF “might” be an improvement, but it is still a subsonic glide bomb that will get intercepted most of the time.
