Can you kind folk get this pillar of disinformation @Alpharius11348 a lil slap on the wrist? Since disinformation is a crime in of itself.
For November Mi28 has a KD of 2.88 against Z-10 2.92, but it has more kills / spawn and a higher victory ratio, still making it #1 in the overall ranking
Mi28 is of course is not that much problematic in on itself if it wasn’t for :
- A missile that actually lofts (but too difficult for spikes and Hellfires ?)
- The KH38 spam
- The Soyuz spam
- The second best SAM
The only top tier area of the game not subject to this certain nation having an advantage is Air RB (Rafale bias)
Regarding LDIRCM, they need to fix
- Going through the fuselage
- targetting multiple missiles at once
- IIR resistance to it
The feature was clearly half baked and should not have been added as is

Both vids from the same game, I love how the IRCM block was literally obliterated when the tail came off but the missiles were still being deflected.
Gaijin really needs to model the IRCM coverage, the Mi-28 cannot actually deflect a single missile like this IRL, the laser can’t go through the fuselage.
Same game, bugged IRIS-T behaves more like a SARH missile and flies entirely on DL, this what would happen IRL. Seeker shuts off in the presence of IRCM and the guidance is provided by the radar :)
I’m okay with LDIRCM as a feature in the game, but they really need to add cooldowns and jamming missile limits. This current nonsense iteration where it can deflect 100 missiles with no consequences needs to go.
DIRCM will not work vs IIR without flares IRL. Current realisation is only Slavik fantasy.

Missiles like IRIS-T cannot be fooled by infrared lasers unless they are extremely high power. In any case, the missile would just shut off its seeker and carry on Datalink or IOG guidance.
Missile will continue to fly along the trajectory until the target becomes larger than the area illuminated by the laser.
Sounds cool, I doubt Gaijin will get around to adding something that advanced yet, but enabling Datalink guidance for the entire duration of the missile’s guidance would be a nice boost to defeat LDIRCM. A report was made about it, currently the terminal phase of the missile has no Datalink guidance.
I proved the LMURS aren’t all that easy to use. Several tanks likely 1/3 to 1/4 in total I fired at last night, I couldn’t lock at all with the LMUR.
And with the igla? Dude… it literally phased into that mirage.
Also, it seems they did fix Iris or I’m just unlucky as hell, first try 2 times last night an iris knocked me out at 3.25~ mile distance.
It’s a winter map, the lock range is reduced and happens to all IR missiles. “LMUR is hard to use because I couldn’t get a lock”, all IR AGMs behave the same, it’s not some sneaked in feature that Gaijin added to make you suffer. They share a baseline stat.
Desync issues? Like bro.

Sure thing, I’ll record some footage in the UHT, it happens to all helicopters. You can have a direct LOS and the game will refuse to lock a target. Also, it’s a winter map, the lock range is decreased.
Janky netcode and desync issues can happen regardless of ping.
Well it is a wrap boys, he couldn’t get a lock on a poor PUMA, so it’s clearly not OP.
Why would a winter make not make a target even more apparent? And it happened on a desert map too btw.

Because IR AGMs all share the same code and behavior, Gaijin isn’t pulling any strings to make the Mi-28 and its LMURs be worse than everyone elses. I had a Jaguar in that same map that I couldn’t lock either, in that same scenario. It’s LOS/weather thing that affects everyone equally.
Can you pull the coding for them all?

It’s a LOS bug that affects all helicopter AGMs, it’s not something that happens to LMUR or the Mi-28 only.
