Im trying to grind this thing in heli PvE and its not even possible to get to a target before a AH-1G, UH-1, or Mi-24 is already going double your speed to said target. I really need help grinding this thing…
Anyone who has the Mi-4AV willing to squad up?
Yeah, Mi-4 is really a school bus, due to its low speed.
But in the same time, its a most multirole starter helo you just can to obtain.
Cobruh is fast, agile… and haven’t any ATGMs, making any attack on SPAA a banzai-charge (meaning suicide attack).
Huey is good, but still haven’t any ATGMs, so still forced to perform high-risk manouvers. And iirc haven’t MGs, so need to wait for rockets reload.
Mi-24 - yes, its you, but way better.
Just try grind to it. It will be slow, and painful (i gived up, and buy Black Shark, when only need 30k RP to take Mi-24A), but it worth it.
(It will be really nice, to add gunners to machines, which have ones (Huey, Mi-8, Blackhawk, etc.). We already have gunners on planes - why helicopters cannot have ones?)
even the Mi-24A could have the glass come out and have the troops with AK’s shoot out the side
Against convoy SPAA it’s just a suicide charge, but you can easily dodge SPAA from battles or bases by simply rolling left and right as you approach.
they toned down the SPAA, I was able to head on Gepards in the Mi-4AV while being stock
Or like Bulgarians make - set PKMB (PKM, but for sidegunners B-Bortovoy), and use them as full-fleged sidegunner MG.
Mi-8, can use NSVT (russian .50) for this cases.
Blackhawks can use GAU-19 (3-barrel, .50 gattling).
Just image face of jet fighter pilots, when they start been shot down by sidegunner fire.
They will start b**ching, demanding nerfs, like against strat. bombers.

Last time when i played - ZA-35, and Dusters just annihilate everything on Canyon.
