I don’t know what genius assigned the BR for the Russian heli tech tree but it is just terrible you literally have to put over a million of research (which gaijin doesn’t offer you for free) points just into 9.7br all for nothing! the mi24v has only a 12.7mm gun and not a 30mm cannon unlike the mi24p at least for that sake make the mi24v at 9.3 br so that you could get an amazing lineup!
The research points for helicopters and their modifications seriously needs to be reevaluated! I don’t know what kind of insanely crazy guy assigned these but they are just horrible and insane!
So DEVS for god’s sake please make some reforms in the Russian helicopter tree !!!

guns are not really used enough in ground to justify moving it down based on that, other options would be either to limit it to 4 shturms or give it worse ATGMS (which would suck given that carrying Shturms was one of the main features of the variant).
The main issue is the 5km range on the Shtums combined with the HIRSS allow it to just sit outside SPAA range in down tiers.
Frankly the best option would be to just folder it and let people grind or skip it as they like.

exactly! you are right!, at least they must folder the 9.7helis like mi24p and ka29! how much of the research points are wasted by this!
9.3? How about 10.3? These choppers are already outranging all ground units, have CCIP for everything, flares, IRCM, RWR, every russian aircraft munition in existence and even a goddamn built in autocannon.
