For MG151/20, the AP-I penetration loss is too high when the distance reaches to 500m, with only 14mm penetration, compared to the similar cannon HO5, which has the same penetration at 10m and the same weight. HO-5’s AP is 17mm/500m. And I’m also not sure why Gaijin add another MG151/20 AP for boat, it shows much better AP rounds with 19mm/500m penetration, is MG151/20 rounds nerfed too much?

MG 151/20 AP penetration (for aircraft) are based on actual ballistics.
Ho-5 AP-T ballistics is most likely ballistics based on guesswork.
But Ho-5 AP-T is both heavier and has a tracer, which makes it ballistically superior to MG 151/20 AP.
There is MG 151/20 APHE-T but the ballistics data is probably lost to time.
That’s weird, currently HO5 APT weight is the same as Mg151/20’s AP.
No. Rounds are always shown with at most two decimal places.
So 117g and 123g are both shown as 0.12kg.
