The merkava mk4’s needs a massive armor buff, the current armor on merkava is just way to weak, Merkava in war thunder can’t survive Kornet missile for example when irl it has been proven in combat to survive multiple hits from them frontally and even from the sides depending where it hits. Also Gajin were did you get the information on the Merkava’s current armor? The armor is just way to low and there are many previous forums with clear real life evidence and Gajin is yet to do anything about it.
The Merkava’s frontal armor’s dimensions make it be able to maybe even survive dm-53 in certain parts, yet it struggles against 2s38 and hstvl frontally? The Merkava even with its realistic armor would still struggle to compete against tanks like the strv 122, leopard 2a7, and t-80bvm, who most have better ammo, thermals in some cases, and armor even if the Merkava had its realistic armor and aps working(trophy in game struggles against multiple targets and atgms when its combat proven effectiveness says otherwise, but that’s a separate issue).

Creating more threads only will result in penalties in the forums, the best you can do is supporting the armor report and sharing public information to add more to the bug report in the same website you linked.
Based on my understanding of gaijin, they will put all the strengthening applications on hold until they decide to strengthen them for some how (and then take the issue out as “historical reason”).
So, if you try, I will support you, but I advise against having too high expectations.
