Merkava Mk4(all) and Namer armor wasnt fix in this major update

Seen plenty get knocked out and towed but nothing like this, usually when IEDs that big go off, there are a lot of broken bones if the tank survives. So to survive that with a turret ripped off is even more impressive, big heavy Merkava must really help in this case like the Abrams as well which I’ve seen get similar treatment.

Secondary, and it’s one of very few which isn’t enough to make a report. Regardless gaijin isn’t going to change the armor anytime soon. They tried to at one point on a past dev server and revoked the changes citing “if the Merkava Mk.4 was truly that armored, it would weigh more”. So unless we finally get our historical 80 tons, it won’t be getting an armor buff anytime soon.

Did anyone ever try to make a M1 bug report based off that one dismantled in Ukraine?

80 tons means no armor buff.
Mass is a source for mass, not armor.

Again, gaijin was willing to buff the armor yet didn’t only due to the lack of weight. If it can finally get its correct weight, then it can also get its correct armor.

The worst case scenario is that they butcher its HP/Ton, and simultaneously fail to buff the armor.

Proving its greater weight is a serious gamble lol.

I’ll take that gamble, I’m desperate.

The armor will not increase.
Nerfing weight only nerfs weight.

Weight is not proof of armor, so demanding higher weight based purely on conjecture just looks like hating Israel’s tech tree.

Gaijin seems to think so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

They don’t.

They literally do, otherwise we’d have a buffed armor Mk.4 that still sat at 65 tons.

Your post is an argument of conjecture as well as a literal definition of the word cope.
Merkava Mk4 armor’s would’ve been buffed if ANY of the bug reports contained armor effectiveness data, which clearly they did not.

It already had been buffed, yet they reverted it on the literal basis of weight.

Look the Namer case, they have fix the weight (64 ton from 61tons) whit out adding more armor. Gaijin is very bad

I’d take their claim of “Most Realistic Military RPG” pretty much identical to a promise after they accepted their models were wrong.

But of course, Israel always gets the short end of the stick.

The namer is a different story entirely. They never buffed it armor previously to realistic standards and reverted it. If it wasn’t for the fact they had been previously willing to buff its armor I would be against it right now, however they’ve shown they are indeed willing to do this.
