And they havent done anything with the Ra’am, so now it’s just flat out worse than the US equivalent, I will probably hold off on grinding it until they give it meaningful cas ordinance, instead I will the new taiwanese mirage 2k and go back to my replay of assassins creed unity

Actually the Merkava Mk4.M uses the Trophy APS, the Iron Fist is also Israeli-made but its being used in the Challenger tank

yep, sorry, the aps now working well

When did they promise to fix it?

thats true lol, but i think its time gajin, the amount of evidence on the merkavas weight and armor is far enough for a fix.

In the one of many report issuen on their report ussues site, they have admit that, actually NERA have the same density of rubber and alluminum, you can find this promise if you do a quickly search

Armor takes months to research and get an accurate fix for after a bug report.
Namer and Merkava Mk4 are not unique.

It took many months for Gaijin to fix the T-44-100 roof armor, and that’s just standard steel.

So you want Merkava nerfed… why?
Crew testimony isn’t evidence.

That’s incompetence/laziness, not necessarily because they lacked research on it, the Merkava situation has been relentlessly bug reported and simply ignored so far

The historical reports were acknowledged and are being investigated.
Devs have to investigate before they even come to a decision to action on.

Oh wow… look at all that “cardboard”…

Sidenote, context for anyone unaware, that Merkava Mk.4M-400 Mk.4M Barack hit an IED, unfortunately killing the turret crew and supposedly popping the turret off the turret ring.

Not a 4M-400. Its actually the new Barak. You can tell by looking at the commander sight, its the new version

I see, my mistake. Thanks for the correction.

It’s interesting seeing different design to the Leos and similar that have had this happen in Ukraine.
Looks like a composite/rubber sandwich in the middle around the thicker plates.

@BasherBenDawg8 Do you think a report can be created based on this image?

Unfortunately images aren’t accepted as sources by gaijin iirc.

Or used on the Leopard 2 A7A1 ;-)

The first image of a destroyed merkava after more than a year of war. The only reason it got destroyed was because of a massive IED that no tank could survive, in the other images you can even see the mine protection plate that it had(believe me its not made out of rubber). After all of that the driver still survived according to the image publisher, which is very impressive. Gaijin can say whatever they want about the armor of this beauty monster, but facts are facts.
